LITTLE ENGINE THAT COULD : PRO BOWL (2016)

Though not the most exciting event of the NFL Season, the Pro Bowl can still be a fun event to attend and watch live on TV. From the beautiful state of Hawaii, NFC & AFC greats will contend in a mix and match all-star game to showcase the talents NFL fans enjoyed the entire 2015 NFL season. Of course to prevent injury there will be regulations set in order including no sacking the QB, minimal punts and the lack thereof of the extra point attempts. Be looking for additional rules to surface during the broadcast this Sunday 6:00 p.m. E.T on ESPN. Check out the Rosters for this annual NFL event below. BIRD FLU : NFC CHAMPIONSHIP [2016]

NFL fans are prepared for an incredible NFC Championship game between two juggernaut rosters who are sure to put on a thrilling show. The Carolina Panthers lost only one game this entire season while the Cardinals suffered a loss in only three. Well it's due or die now as the stage is set for Super Bowl 50. It is definitely refreshing to see some new faces in the NFC Championship game and the emergence of young promising regimes in this next era decade of the NFL. With as minimal of bias as possible (we like both of these teams), we will analyze and break down our expected outcome of this tough NFC showdown to see who will advance to Super Bowl 50.

Cam Newton has surfaced his smile on media outlets worldwide the entire fall/winter season of NFL action. As the cameras continue to zoom in, now it is time to answer the real question : is he really ready to take Carolina to win their 1st NFL championship? His performance last week was so super stellar that it seemed almost to be a blur to the viewers. A 31 point lead was established in the first half of a game in which Newton went 16-22 on pass attempts and featured a TD pass as well. Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart  kept it business as usually including a 50+ yard run on the very first play of the game last weekend. 109 rushing yards, 2 touchdowns on just 19 attempts was a job well done to make the lead insurmountable for the striving Seahawks to overcome. The passing game of Arizona cannot have Carson Palmer tossing interceptions into the hands of the Carolina Panthers the way he did against the Green Bay Packers in the Divisional Round on this particular occasion unless they plan on spending their Super Bowl 50 Sunday at home eating Doritos on the sofa.  I expect the Panthers to keep the Arizona rushing attack at bay. The Cardinals must convert their red zone opportunities with touchdowns, if not they will find themselves in a ground and pound match up their personnel isn't built to endure. We like Carolina to win this one with a score around 24-20.

The Bruce Arians coached Arizona Cardinals pack a punch on the offensive side of the football. They ranked 2nd in scoring and first in total yards per game this season. The loss of superstar safety Tyrann Mathieu definitely hurt the soul of many NFL fans including those of the Arizona Cardinals. His absence means that QB Cam Newton will be able to run freely without the worry of a nerve wrecking speedster spying him down his throat. Even without Mathieu, the strength of the Cardinals defense is still undoubtedly in their secondary but Cardinals DT Calais Campbell may be looking to stake his claim by halting the rushing attack of the Carolina Panthers on the biggest stage of his young promising career. The Panthers will likely lineup in their big packages (i.e I-Form, Singleback, Pistol, etc) to force the Cardinals to staff their defense with minimal defensive backs. This means that stopping the run is a must in order to prevail. Offensively, thank God the Cardinals have WR Larry Fitzgerald who is a season vet determined to redeem his heartbreaking lost in Super Bowl XLIII. He will play a big role in attempting to visit Bank of America Stadium and leave with a one way ticket to Super Bowl 50. If the Cardinals can get an early lead and force the Panthers to some early three and outs, they'll be able to suck the life out of the home crowd and get the road upset in the NFC Championship. That of course will be much more easily said than done.

ARIZONA CARDINALS @ CAROLINA PANTHERS 6:30 p.m. E.T on FOX

MEMORIAL DAY : AFC CHAMPIONSHIP [2016]

Old rivals will match-up in the AFC Championship this weekend to see who can advance into Super Bowl 50. The New England Patriots will visit the Denver Broncos at Sports Authority Stadium as QB Tom Brady and QB Peyton Manning will duel it out yet again to see who can add bragging rights unto their Hall of Fame career resume.  Although we've been spoiled with over 4 months of gridiron, how speedily has this years' NFL season come to pass. No marvel of course, things aren't finalized just yet. Below we'll give you the run down on what you can expect from both teams in this AFC Championship game and who we believe will be headed to San Francisco to participate in big Super Bowl 50.

The more I read about it the more I fall in love with what awaits us in yet another Brady Vs. Manning post-season showdown. The Patriots have quite an offensive punch as we know it with WR Julian Edleman, TE Rob Gronkowski and of course the Michigan man leading the charge behind center QB Tom Brady. But it's actually the Patriots defense that has been rather impressive this season. DE Chandler Jones and OLB Rob Ninkovich have done their deal of damage destroying the ability of opposing running attacks. Not particularly statistically, but the fact that the Patriots have a +7 turnover ratio this season is a clear indicator that they are doing more than enough to get victories. The Pats forced the Chiefs to throw the ball 50 times in the divisional round and if a similar scenario takes place against Denver in the AFC Championship, it is likely that the New England pass rushers I just mentioned will have QB Peyton Manning eating grass all afternoon. The spread offense of New England will cause problems for the Broncos secondary. The absence of WR Antonio Brown showed prevalent in Denver's victory in the Divisional round but this is a different monster they'll face this week. Without some Brady interceptions, chances of the Broncos scoring more than 17 points in this contest are rather slim. I expect New England to get the win with an 8+ point margin.

After a 5-0 start to the NFL season a bumpy ride to the top of the AFC West division and a revision at the QB position, the Denver Broncos and Peyton Manning find themselves in the AFC Championship game. If Denver plan to win this game, it will come down to their defenses ability to keep New England off of the field. I don't believe they have to personnel to do that. Their offense may struggle the way it did against the Steelers and if so the Patriots will eventually rack up points on the scoring making the Broncos rushing attack to no effect and putting pressure of the withered arm on Manning to get the victory. Denver has to be banking on the possibility that they can get the Patriots offense to cough it up on a fumble or interceptions. Strategically I am unable to see how the Broncos plan on being able to outman the offensive attack of New England. Nevertheless, there is a reason why they play on the field and not on paper. Perhaps head coach Gary Kubiak and his stretch run schematic can give Brady and Belicheck a few headaches.

WELL NOBODY'S BURFICT - AFC WILD CARD RECAP

The 2015 NFL Playoffs are underway and the first batch of games have lived up to every inch of their expectations. The exclamatory events that took place this weekend helped teams get their advancing wins while other teams dealt with the dread of facing a terrible season ending loss. Within this article we'll look ahead at the upcoming match-ups in the AFC and give you the run-down on the AFC Wild Card match-ups that have already come to pass. The Houston Texans made complete foolery out of themselves at the NRG Stadium this weekend. Their 30-0 loss against the red hot Chiefs had NFL fans wondering why Houston even bothered to show up. The game initialized on a game-opening kick return from Kansas City running back Nile Davis. Despite the fact that Houston's defense forced several turnovers and red zone opportunities,QB Brian Hoyer put the writing on the wall with 4 interceptions and a fumble. He definitely might need to consider rethinking his long-term career plans after a performance like that. As for Kansas City, Saturday's win makes it 12 in a row and their first post-season victory in over a decade. In the upcoming Divisional round the The Chiefs will head to New England to match up against the Patriots  in what should be a flat out thriller. It will be interesting to see if the Chiefs can do a doozy and clinch a AFC Championship berth by winning in Foxboro. Of course they'll need to put the clamps of the dynamic Patriots offense and their super QB Tom Brady.

The Cincinnati Bengals make yet another 1st round post-season exit t during the Marvin Lewis era and can point directly to their immature conduct on the football field. Not quite sure how they believed they would prevent a Steelers comeback with under 30 seconds to play in regulation playing the way they did. Thanks to a uncalled for unsportsmanlike hit from well-known wicked one Bengals LB Vontaze Burfict the Steelers marginalized a 18-15 victory over the NFC North's best. The 15 yard penalty was follow by a sissy like shove issued by DB Pacman Jones to Steelers assistant coach Joey Porter who was simply seeking to aid a unconscious WR Antonio Brown that laid on the field. With no timeouts and 22 seconds to play in regulation the Bengals gave Pittsburgh a 30 yard gain in the matter of 5 seconds. The Bengals deserved to loss the game. The Steelers will now head to Sports Authority stadium to match up against a well rested Broncos team that has no plans on being halted, especially with QB Peyton Manning back in the line-up. The match-up will be a rematch from Week 15 when the Steelers over came a 20 point lead to defeat the leagues best ranked defense 34-27. Be looking out for news regarding Antonio Brown's status in the media soon. Enjoy the post-season ladies and gentlemen.

Pittsburgh Steelers @ Denver Broncos 01/17/16 4:40 p.m. E.T on CBS

BROTHERLY LOVE FOR YOUR COUSINS (WEEK 16) : REDSKINS @ EAGLES

The notorious NFC East division has yet again become the spotlight for spontaneity in the NFL. The Dallas Cowboys forfeited their chances of the Playoffs last weekend, the Giants are begging their division peers to collapse and the Eagles and Redskins are ready to tear each other in half tonight center stage on a Thursday Night Football special Saturday edition. I am unable to trust either one of these unseemly teams this ladder part of the year but would like to see the Redskins with QB Kirk Cousins march into Philadelphia and ravish the city of Brotherly Love and Lincoln financial. As always, I'm here to give you the pre-game run down on what viewers can expect from this crucial NFC match-up.

The Washington Redskins have the opportunity to make a statement and clinch the playoffs for the first time since 2012. They were of course defeated by the Seahawks who went on to win the Championship that year and were led by the talents of QB Robert Griffin III who has turned out to be a complete bust. No shame in QB Kirk Cousins's game who has thrown 22 TD's this season and produced a 97.2 QB rating. Head Coach Jay Gruden certainly likes the chances of Cousins getting a good contract with Washington and their offense is still stacked with weapons like WR Desean Jackson and HB Alfred Morris to solidify a promising future. Tonight the Redskins will have to turn it up a notch on the defensive side of the ball and hold the Eagles to under 120 yards rushing. If the Redskins are forced to fight an uphill battle though the Eagles blitz may cause some problems for the Washington passing game. I really like Washington's defensive chances tonight, if they capitalize on turnovers and turn things into a ground and pound game, they'll come out victorious.

The Philadelphia Eagles and their roller coaster season is finally coming to an end. A underachieved season for HB DeMarco Murray, and lowsy season record and a undefined roster has to put much pressure in the heart of Head Coach Chip Kelly. The world will be watching as the Eagles will seek to stake claim as the NFC East's most dominant team if they can defeat the Redskins tonight. Eagles QB Sam Bradford will need to preserve the clock and avoid any turnovers if Philadelphia plans to get the win. Also their front of the defensive side of the ball will need to halt a heavy Redskins rushing attack. With their work cut out for them expect a heavy slandering if Kelly is unable to get the job done on primetime television tonight. We will see how it all plays out real soon.

HEADED OUT : THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL (WEEK 16)

Thursday Night Football continues tonight in Week 16 of the NFL as the Oakland Raiders host the San Diego Chargers on NFL Network. These division rivals matched up earlier this season in Week 7 when the Raiders torched the San Diego defense with 37 points. With the possibility of the Raiders making the Playoffs obsolete now, it is likely that this game will be very intense as both teams look to leave the under-achieved 2015 season on a good note. I like the Raiders at home this night. Let's analyze to see just what this match-up will mean to both of these teams. The Oakland Raiders have tackled a few quality teams this season. Oakland has defeated the Broncos, Jets and other household names in the league to help establish firm faith in the future of the franchise. QB Derek Carr is having quite a season and won't be looking to slow down tonight. Did I mention that this will be superstar DB Charles Woodson's last home game with the Black & Silver? Expect the Raiders home crowd to come out roaring with a intensity level to unbearable for a inadequate Chargers offense. Expect WR Amari Cooper and WR Michael Crabtree to each have 5 plus receptions and a TD. I like the Raiders

The San Diego Super Chargers have the same cast leading their regime that they've had for nearly a decade now. The 4-10 record speaks volume to a disappointing season, but the fact they have QB Phillip Rivers and TE Antonio Gates always makes watching their offense work celebratory. Last week the Chargers destroyed the Miami Dolphins 30-14, leading by double digits for majority of the game. Rivers tossed 3 touchdowns and went 26/36 on passes for 311 yards. San Diego led the time of possession statistic 21:07 to 38:53 against the Dolphins who looked just awful. Tonight they'll face a tougher opponent in Oakland who will likely bring it to the Chargers defense. The San Diego secondary will have their work cut out for them tonight against a Raiders receiving core that is simply marvelous. I don't like the Chargers chances on the road tonight.

STRANGE WORK : MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL (WEEK 15)

I couldn't possibly be more excited for the upcoming 2015 NFL Playoffs. Unfortunately the two teams playing in tonight's Monday Night Football game will not be participating this post-season. They are though, teams playing for a little bit of pride, dignity and of course the want to safe the coaching staff of their respected organizations from termination. It's difficult to determine how this one will turn out. With all things being equal though, I have to say that the Saints will get it done on their home field tonight. Within this article I will tell you why New Orleans will add another victory to their season record. Tune in to this match-up tonight exclusively on ESPN at 8:25 p.m. to see how it all plays out.

New Orleans defeated Tampa Bay 24-27 on the road in Week 14 and gave the undefeated Carolina Panthers a scare just the week prior (41-38). Considering their offensive ability with Hall of Fame bound QB Drew Brees leading, I'll make the bold prediction that the Saints may produce over 400 yards of total offense tonight at the Mercedes Silverdome. With the possibility of Sean Payton departing and Brees in the latter part of his NFL career, the Saints will be looking to put on a show for the home crowd. Unless the Detroit Lions offense can make this game a uphill battle for New Orleans they may face a double digit defeat tonight down in Louisiana. Look for WR Brandin Cooks to cause havoc in the Lions secondary tonight. The fade and deep post routes built in the Saints offensive schematic can be quite effective.

The Lions would claim to have been robbed a victory considering their Monday Night appearance earlier in the season when a "illegal bat" disallowed the Lions to defeat the Seahawks in Week 4. They are not looking to carry the shame of that defeat into this week though. All eyes should be on QB Matthew Stafford who continues to strive and show himself worthy of the entitlement of "Elite" in this league, despite the adoration he receives. After a 3 game winning streak, the Lions had their hearts broken by a Green Bay Packers hail-mary in Week 13, and a baffling loss to a hardy St. Louis rams team in Week 14. Indeed the Lions offense has been horrid running the ball and thus, the reliance on Stafford may be a little bit distorted. Funny thing is, the Lions rank top in the league in Red Zone TD percentage in the entire NFL. Bizarre right? Well, we'll see if the stat can render them victorious tonight on the road against their NFC South opponent.

IT'S NOT WHAT IT SEEMS : JETS @ COWBOYS (WEEK 15)

After the Rams got their expected victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Thursday Night, Week 15 in the 2015 NFL Season will continue this weekend starting with a Saturday Night special between the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Jets. Certainly the league must've figured that the Cowboys would be much more of a Playoff contender considering how many times they've been featured in primetime lights this season. Nevertheless, I particularly trust that the Jets will get it done on the road at AT&T stadium and I'm here to tell you why this will be a very interesting contest. Tune in tonight at 8:25 p.m. E.T  only on NFL Network for this showdown. Peace.

The New York Jets gave the Titans something to think about in Week 14 by defeating Tennessee 30-8 to advance to 8-5 on the season. Certainly New York is anticipating the opportunity to get their revenge on the New England Patriots who currently lead the NFC East division by two games. Considering, the Jets still have a chance to catch New England if they are diligent down the stretch of the next two weeks. Tonight they'll rely on their receiving core (WR Brandon Marshall & WR Brian Decker) and rushing game (manned by HB Chris Ivory) to give the Cowboys defense a fatigue like they've not seen just yet this season. I don't like the Cowboys chances of scoring more than 13 points on arguably the AFC's best defense tonight. The only flaw that might allow New York to lose this game is if they turn the ball over in their own territory and grant a sluggish Cowboys offense plenteous red zone opportunities. With the chances of that happening doubtful, I like the Jets in this match-up.

I'll be honest enough to say that I am absolutely tired of talking about the Dallas Cowboys (most of us are). Despite a horrid season, Dallas does offer their signature logo and white and silver jersey's that are just undeniably distinctive. Thus, their 4-9 record has to make one wonder; why are they the most highly discussed NFL team in the league when they most likely won't even make the Playoffs this year. Beats me. Well I think tonight they'll have the opportunity to show the world why they are called "America's team" by matching up with a team that is favorited over them easily. Tonight the Cowboys need to get some sustaining drives and force a few Jets turnovers if they plan to get the upset on their home field. Hopefully Dallas QB Matt Casel can avoid Revis Island and a Jets pass rush that loves eating QB's for dinner. Good Luck Cowboys.

AND THEN THIS : THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL (WEEK 15)

It's nearly time for the NFL Playoffs and that means some will live to play of and some teams have players playing to avoid entering 2016 without employment. Therefore we welcome in another Thursday Night match-up between to non-playoff contenders. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will head to the Midwest to face the St. Louis Rams in the primetime lights. This game may come off as a bore but the NFL fanatics, we understand that these teams are excited to end off their disappointing 2015 season with a opportunity to put it all on the line in the primetime lights. Coverage of this match-up can be observed solely on NFL Network at 8:25 p.m. E.T.

St. Louis held the Lions at bay in Week 14. Defeating the Lions by a score of 21-14, St. Louis produced a touchdown early in the 1st half thanks to a DB Truman Johnson interception that pretty much set the tone for the entire afternoon. The Rams were able to get a quality product out of HB Todd Gurley who had a 16 rush 140 yards 2 touchdown outing against a Lions defense that was showing signs of health. No doubt the Rams underachieved in 2015, but they have a promising future if they can find a quality Quarterback. I believe the Rams can defeat the Buccaneers tonight because their defense is just too ferocious. Buccaneers QB Jameis Winston will have a chance to show the world why he was the top pick in the NFL Draft tonight against one of the best defenses the NFL has to offer.

The Buccaneers were fighting to make the playoffs until the Saints pretty much wrote them a letter of disapproval last weekend. Tampa Bay's 24-17 loss to the Saints featured a inability to get a third down stop with under a 1:30 to go in the game. I admire Tampa Bay's ability to get vertical passing and rushing gashes throughout the game but their lacking defense makes it hard for anyone to put faith in what they have to offer. Tonight they've been offered the opportunity to get a little momentum going for next year in what seems to be a promising future. Especially on the offensive side of the ball. Tune in tonight of NFL Network to see how it all plays out.

CLEAN SLATE : NFL MARQUEE MATCH-UPS (WEEK 14)

The question still remains : why didn't Minnesota just kick the field goal? The Vikings loss in the closing seconds against the Cardinals (20-23) on Thursday Night Football to get Week 14 started. With three weeks left in the 2015 NFL season, their are many teams attempting to make it into the post-season. Many teams have the opportunity to close their divisions this weekend, while others are looking for another opportunity to show the world why they are playoff contenders. Below we've highlighted the marquee match-ups of Week 14. It's time to enjoy another weekend of football.

Buffalo Bills @ Philadelphia Eagles 1:00 p.m. E.T on CBS

If you have already heard the news from nearly every internet sports source, yes Bills running back is excited to return to Lincoln Field Financial and play his former team. Though the season records of these teams aren't the most impressive, they are determined to win today and increase their chances of clinching a playoff's spot. Philadelphia defeated the New England Patriots in Foxboro in Week 13 while the Bills defeated a striving Houston Texans team on their home field at Ralph Wilson Stadium.  I like the Bills today in the road. Their running game and pass rush should become quite a hassle for the Eagles in the latter part of the game. I don't believe the Eagles have the defense for the dynamics of the Bills offense especially for WR Sammy Watkins. This will definitely be a very close game though.

New England Patriots @ Houston Texans 8:30 p.m. E.T on NBC

This match-up may come to be Houston's opportunity to finally seize the AFC South. I believe they will get it done as well. The Patriots have been struggling and it is because the surreal belief that they are unstoppable has finally subsided amongst NFL defenses. Of course they have loss nearly all their passing weapons but their terrible rushing attack has made them one dimensional on the offensive side of the ball. One positive for New England is that they'll get TE Rob Gronkowski back from his Week 12 injury at Sports Authority against the Broncos. The Texans snapped a four game winning streak against Buffalo last week. Texans QB Brian Hoyer has a QB rating of 94.4 and has thrown 18 TD's and just 6 interceptions this season. I like his chances of leading the Texans against the Patriots defense this week. If Houston can hold the New England Offense under 23 points they should come out victorious in what will be a nail biter.

JUSTICE LEAGUE : THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL (WEEK 14)

Thursday Night Football in Week 14 has huge playoffs implications. Two of the NFC's best teams face off tonight as the Minnesota Vikings head to Arizona to match-up against the Cardinals. Now of course some speculation about the outcome of this match-up might be surmised after performances of both clubs in Week 13, but we are here to tell you that this game will be more competitive than most would believe. The Arizona Cardinals offense has been on a terror. Ranking 1st in the league in scoring and featuring  weapons at each and every position on the offensive side of the ball, they certainly see themselves as the team to beat in the NFC. Tonight they welcome in the Minnesota Vikings, a team in which got destroyed by the Seattle Seahawks last weekend. Arizona has to be feeling like their Week 13 victory over the Rams is enough ignite to carry over into tonight. The aerial attack of the Cardinals is second to none, and if they can get WR Larry Fitzgerald, WR Michael Floyd and WR John Brown into some open space this may turn  tonights showdown into an offensive shootout that the Vikings don't have a personnel to match. This game will depend heavily on if the Cardinals can render a few turnovers. Despite what critics may be believing, they understand how crucial this match-up is against Minnesota tonight. Head coach Bruce Arians is relishing the opportunity to be on the main stage for the 4th time this year.

Mike Zimmer and the Minnesota Vikings made a mockery out of themselves in Week 13. The Vikings allowed Seattle 25 first downs and 38 points while they produced just 9 first downs and 7 points. I have not particularly lost faith in Minnesota and though they showed themselves lacking in Week 13, they have a chance to redeem themselves on National television tonight at University of Phoenix Stadium. Surely HB Adrian Peterson should understand that his 8 carry 18 yard outing against Seattle last week is not going to get it done out there. If redemption in the rushing attack is to emerge this week I like Minnesota's chances tonight in Arizona. They'll have to run the ball successfully, keep turnovers to a minimum, and score more than 24 points in order for them to get the win. This is quite a timely match-up that almost all NFL fanatics are looking forward to. Good luck Minnesota.

RODGER THAT : THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL (WEEK 13)

The Detroit Lions host Thursday Night Football in Week 13 as that welcome to town their NFC North division rival, the Green Bay Packers. In Week 10, the Lions were able to defeat Rodgers and the Packers by a score of 18-16. There are countless of reasons why I think they will do the same here in Week 13 and I'll explain why in this article with the pre-game analysis right here at THEBIRTHLLC.com. A 1-7 start to the Detroit Lions NFL season has been followed with three consecutive wins. It started in Week 10 against the Packers, continued when they welcome the Raiders to town in Week 11 and was made exclamatory in Week 12 against the Eagles. Most contenders may view the 4-7 start as a sign of incompetence, but NFL analyst are beginning to notice a shift in morale amongst the Lions organization. In what should be a nail biter tonight, expect the Lions offense to put up some big numbers in helping to produce their fourth straight win. If QB Matthew Stafford throws no interceptions and for 300 plus yards be assured that the Lions will win this game in front of the hometown fans at Ford Field. All in One Pride.

Aaron Rodgers. You hear the name and envision the green and yellow jersey's that clothed the Green Bay Packers roster. The only difference now is do we still fear them? It's hard to say. For the first time in many moons the Packers face being swept by the Detroit Lions and are threatened to lose divisional title because of the Minnesota Vikings who have yet to lose a divisional game. The bright spot for the Packers is surprisingly HB Eddie Lacy who continues to run the rock with authority and uncanny tenacity. He's produced 100 yard games in both of the most recent games and has his eyes on  punishing the Detroit defense. Lions DE Ezekiel Ansah may have contrary ideas about the Packers rushing and passing attack tonight. The wavering spirit I have within this article alone is a true testament that this will be an extraordinary match-up. You don't want to miss this.

THERE'S A WILL, THERE'S A WAY - AFTERMATH OF MNF (WEEK 12)

The supposed boredom that was a NFC North match-up between two non-playoff contenders last night turned out to be a complete thriller. With under 2:00 minutes to go in the game the Baltimore Ravens possessed the football at their own 20 yard line with the hope of breaking the 27-27 tie they had with the Browns. This time though, they were without QB Joe Flacco who had been playing as their started for 5 consecutive seasons. His replacement, QB Matt Schaub threw a telegraphed pass directly to DB Tramon Williams in  a interception giving Cleveland possession of the football right in field goal range. I as well as many other Baltimore fans fled to the kitchen for a scooby snack assuming that the game was over. When I returned, this is what I observed. Ravens S Will Hill was celebrating in the end zone and had scored a game winning touchdown as time had expired. Attached is a video with the drastic 33-27 finish. Check it out.

GOBBLE GOBBLE : NFL MARQUEE MATCH-UPS (WEEK 12)

Happy Holidays ladies and gentleman. We were given a dosage of NFL football this Thursday and now it's Sunday and time to watch more. In case you missed it, the Detroit Lions won their 3rd straight game by destroying the Eagles 45-7, the Panthers gobbled the Romo led Cowboys 33-14 and the Packers were defeated by the Chicago Bears 17-13 to top off the night. Lo and behold, there come a greater than these though. The Marquee Match-ups of Week 12 is detailed within the following. I hoped everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving but now, enjoy another Sunday afternoon of America's favorite game.

Minnesota Vikings @ Atlanta Falcons 1:00 p.m. E.T on FOX

Minnesota and Atlanta faced Week 11 defeats. Atlanta allowed Indianapolis to come into the Georgia dome and dominate them with a second string quarterback. The Green Bay Packers team who conquered a Minnesota team that had been on a flaming winning streak. The 30-13 defeat featured two third down touchdown throws by QB Aaron Rodgers and a crucial HB Adrian Peterson red zone fumble that closed the door on a 2nd half comeback. There is though not a credible reason for me to believe they won't rebound today against the Falcons. Except for the fact that Davonta Freeman... oh yeah... he's still injured. The Vikings may get out to an early league today and I'll make a bold prediction and say that the Falcons might not score more than 10 points. Tune in on FOX.

Buffalo Bills @ Kansas City Chiefs 1:00 p.m. E.T CBS

The Bills haven't had the easiest of schedules, but they have been very competitive in each of their match-ups. The teams they've lost to feature the Patriots twice, the Bengals, the youthful Jags (In which they didn't have their starting quarterback) and others. Regardless I still have faith in the team from Buffalo. The Chiefs have indeed been on a role and they're looking at the Bills like a pair of fresh meat. The Chiefs defense has been super stout allowing just 3 points to the Chargers last week, 13 to the Broncos the week prior and 10 to the Lions two weeks before that. My goodness if their is any match-up that is a must watch it is this one today. I expect a lot of hard hitting and if the Bills are able to make the plays they didn't Sunday in foxboro they should come out victorious. It'll be a close one.

New England Patriots @ Denver Broncos 8:30 p.m. E.T on NBC

The Denver Broncos don't mind being without Peyton Manning who seemed to be a hinderance with his as my stepfather said "noodle arm." While the Fan favorite passer broke yardage records against the Chiefs in Week 10, his three interception outing called for the appearance of QB Brock Osweiler who produced a win in his first career start against the Chicago Bears in week 11. Brock threw not a single interception and had two touchdowns. Of course the New England Patriots don't care, though they struggled against the Bills defense on Monday Night, they expect to visit Sports Authority Stadium and prove themselves the team to beat in the AFC. As if they haven't already, we'll soon see though. The Broncos certainly have a trick up their sleeve and I like their chances at home tonight.

Philadelphia Eagles @ Detroit Lions 12:30 p.m. E.T on FOX

Don't look now but the Detroit Lions have won two games in a row and are hoping to make it three today against Chip Kelly's Eagles. The Philadelphia Eagles are just inconceivable. One minute they are looking like the team to beat and the next you are wondering who and what they are out there on the field. The Buccaneers torched the Eagles defense in Week 11 in game where the final score was 45-17. The task won't get easier for Philly in Week 12 as they'll be dealing with a much better defense who has plans on stuffing the Eagles running game and forcing  QB Mark Sanchez to get it done. Well, I'll have to take the Detroit Lions in this one. And explosive game from the Lions spread offense may make things difficult for the Eagles defense early at Ford Field today. Carolina Panthers @ Dallas Cowboys 4:30 p.m. E.T on CBS

Game of the day is simply an understatement considering how big of a deal this match-up will be. The Dallas Cowboys certainly feel happy their starting QB Tony Romo is back out there on the field. In last week's win over the Miami Dolphins, Romo threw two touchdowns on 18/28, 277 yards and two interceptions as well. The Carolina Panthers out jolted the Washington Redskins in what began like a tight affair until Carolina gained tread in the 2nd quarter. In the win QB Cam Newton went 21/34  for 246 yards, 5 Touchdowns and not a single interception. The MVP candidate has definitely taken form of a elite quarterback and is awaiting his chance to show the world why today on national television. The undefeated Panthers will have their hands full today with this Cowboys receiving core. If Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart is limited in the running game that just may allow Dallas to pull this one off while you stuff your face with the Turkey. Should be a good one.

Chicago Bears @ Green Bay Packers 8:30 p.m. on NBC

QB Aaron Rodgers will definitely relax after redeeming himself after the Week 10 defeat to the Detroit Lions in which he produced only one touchdown pass. The Packers visited the Minnesota Vikings in Week 11 and put on an absolute scoring clinic. Well let's not give Rodgers all the credit of course. The return of Packers HB Eddie Lacy allowed Green Bay to rush for 100 yards on just 22 carries. The Vikings inability to stop Lacy was the true story of the game rather critics admit it of not. The Bears will deal with the same issue tonight at Lambeau Field. If the bears are too sensitive to lay some wood to Eddie Lacy the way the Lions did, then the Bears will have to deal with a Green Bay play action schematic that will have them looking at a sizable deficit early. Good news for Chicago though, HB Matt Forte and WR Alshon Jeffrey are expected to return to the lineup today from injury. Be sure to tune in to this NFC North match-up. It should be a good one.

KIND OF A BIG DEAL : MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL (WEEK 11)

Monday Night Football continues tonight in Week 11 of the NFL as AFC East rivals match-up in a statement game. The undefeated New England Patriots will welcome the Buffalo Bills into Foxboro and have quite haste about stomping all over the Rex Ryan led defense. In this article I'll go over why this is sure to be a very intense and close game. No need to go anywhere else for your pre-game analysis. The team to beat in the AFC is clearly the New England Patriots. What better statement is there to be made than the one they have set forth thus far in 2015. The defending NFL champions do not plan on being stopped. With grit, New England left Met Life Stadium with a 27-26 victory over the Giants in Week 10. A crucial dropped pass by Giants wide receiver WR Odell Beckham Jr. left the door open for a late game drive and a K Stephen Gostowski field goal with just seconds left on the clock. In a league where you are required to leave it all on the line week after week, the Patriots do just that even if they can't get rushing yards. Against the Bills defense, I expect to see a heavy dosage of the spread offense and play action passing. The Bills will be required to stop TE Rob Gronkowski however they can. Bills DB Stephen Gilmore certainly feels he has a plan to take the best TE in the game out of his effectiveness tonight in the primetime lights. Despite his trash talk earlier this week, we'll certainly see about that though.

Who are the Buffalo Bills? A topsy turning season has Buffalo sitting in second place in the AFC East as they seek to get a Playoff berth as a wild card this winter. What a task they'll be faced with tonight going up against the best team in the AFC. The Bills can run the ball. HB LeSean McCoy plans on juking every player on the Patriots defensive roster out of his shoes this evening. New England ranks 9th in the league in defense against the run, a deceptive statistic probably predicated on the fact they're usually forcing their opponents into passing situations by gaining big leads. Tonight if the Bills are patient with the running game they will have a chance. If they though do become too pass heavy, things could go south rather quickly. Stay tuned for some Monday Night action.

LOADING DOCK : NFL MARQUEE MATCH-UPS (WEEK 11)

In Week 11 of the NFL things will get very interesting. A few quality divisional match-ups are set to take place while others are non-divisional match-ups that should be very exciting. NFL fans just want to know which teams they can count on down the stretch and whether or not a few teams are just bluffing. In this article, we'll run down the match-ups we believe will be the best in week 11. Another week at the office for 32 teams in Americas favorite game and it should be a dandy.

Cincinnati Bengals @ Arizona Cardinals 8:30 p.m. E.T on NBC

The Arizona Cardinals did their thing in Seattle Sunday night. Their 39-32 victory included 3 touchdown passes from QB Carson Palmer and a 7 reception 113 yards 2 TD game from upcoming WR Michael Floyd. The Cardinals have officially taken command of the NFC West and are looking to seize top seeding in the NFC. Well if only they can get the Carolina Panthers to lose. Cincinnati comes into week 11 stunned after losing to the Houston Texans in what analyst consider a trap game. The Texans finally looked like the team they were projected to be while the Bengals looked like the mediocre team that has caused me to distrust them in my heart for several years. The Bengals have to redeem themselves after a performance like the one Monday Night. I don't particularly like their chances against the Cardinals defense but if they can get a more productive outing from QB Andy Dalton they may be able to shock the world at University of Phoenix Stadium on national television.

Buffalo Bills @ New England Patriots Mon 8:30 p.m. E.T on ESPN

Bills head coach Rex Ryan was certainly thrilled to get a victory against his former team in Week 10. The Bills dominated their Thursday Night match-up against the Jets with the exception of a crucial fumble by the punter in the 4th quarter.  The Bills rushed LeSean McCoy for 112 yards on 12 carries and managed the Jets offense fairly well. I like the Bills chances of stuffing the Patriots running game but against Brady's spread offense they may run into a few problems. I would love for the Bills to make a statement on Monday Night. If they are to win, Bills QB Tyrod Taylor will have to be flawless and Brady's time on the field must be limited. The Bills cannot defeat the Patriots by rendering red-zone field goals and I am predicting that they will get it done this week in Foxboro giving the Patriots their first loss of the season.

Green Bay Packers @ Minnesota Vikings 4:25 p.m. E.T on FOX

The Packers have looked dismal the past three weeks on the field. Losing to the Broncos in Week 8 was rather respectful as well as their nail biting victory to the Panthers in week 9 but the week 10 defeat they faced against the Detroit Lions has one wondering what in the world has gotten into the "team to beat" in the NFC North. Well, the team to beat in the NFC North welcomes them to town Sunday afternoon. I predicted in the off-season that the Vikings would win the NFC North and it is certainly starting to look that way. Expect a heavy dosage of HB Adrian Peterson and a few Vikings interceptions to get the Packers their 4th loss in a row and the Vikings their 6th consecutive win.

Tonight, Thursday Night Football continues with a Week 11 match-up between the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans. Though both of these teams are non-playoff contenders, this game should be an even matched slugfest between to young up and coming teams. It's difficult for me to decide who will be a winner tonight but if I had to choose I'd side with the Jaguars who seem to have a bit of resolve in their blood. Nevertheless, kickoff for the match up is 8:25 p.m. E.T live from Jacksonville. Be sure to tune in only on NFL Network.

Tennessee figured they'd upset the Panthers in Week 10 after defeating the Saints a week prior. Well reality set in that they aren't prepared to play championship football just yet. After firing Ken Whisenhunt for irrational reasons, the Titans come into tonight trying to prove themselves as an upcoming team in the AFC. They haven't been to the post-season in over a decade but with the selection of rookie QB Marcus Mariota, things may get better. I expect the Jaguars to keep the Titans offense at bay tonight though. The Titans inability to run the football will play as a hindering factor on the road this evening.

Blake Bortles and the Jacksonville Jaguars escaped Baltimore with a victory thanks to a bonehead play by Ravens OLB Elvis Dumervil who face masked Bortles as time expired giving the Jags an extra play and what was game clinching field goal range. The Jags have been very competitive this season. No team has been able to march over them despite their unimpressive 3-6 record. Tonight I expect the Jaguars to ignite the home crowd in this AFC battle as they look to stay in contention for the AFC South wild card position.
