JOHNNY BRAVO : TNF (WEEK 9)

In Week 9 of the NFL the Cleveland Browns will head to Cincinnati to take on the undefeated Bengals. This NFC North battle is a divisional rivalry that has been highly anticipated. The Browns defeated the Bengals early in the 2014 regular season at Paul Brown Stadium. With that now behind them, the Bengals are looking to defend home field on prime time television and show the world why they aren't to be taken lightly in 2015. Below I have outlined several implications that should make for an exciting suspense for tonight's match-up including the Browns giving the start to second year QB Johnny Manziel. The Browns watched a Arizona Cardinals team rally from 10 points down to defeat them in Cleveland last week by a score of 34-20. The 2nd ranked scoring Arizona Cardinals offense has a lot in common with the 3rd ranked Cincinnati Bengals offense. Thus, this may be yet another long day at the office for the 2-6 Cleveland Browns team. To make matters even worse, they have to the delight of the Cleveland fans inserted QB Johnny Manziel into the starting lineup. Last season against the Bengals Mr. Manziel produced a QB rating of 1.1 and was sacked a numerous of times. The Bengals defense will likely munch on Johnny again tonight. The bright spot for Cleveland has for the year of 2015 been their passing game led by QB Luke McCown and  WR Travis Benjamin. A modification of this particular tandem has me wondering what the organization has in mind going into such a major game against arguably the best team in the NFL. The unwarranted bravo for Johnny may morph into criticism if the Browns  get pummeled tonight. Especially on national television.

The Cincinatti Bengals won't beg for your respect they'll just earn it. Seven consecutive wins against teams like the Steelers, Seahawks, Ravens and anybody else the NFL decided to put on their schedule in 2015, has them believing why not us. In a Week 8 scare, the Pittsburgh Steelers led the Bengals with under 5 minutes to go but thanks to a late game drive by QB Andy Dalton, Cincinnati fended off the idea of having a defeat on their season schedule. Though they give up yardage, the Bengals defense is allowing just 18.9 points per game. Actually, Cleveland's decision to insert Johnny Manziel may make exponential impact on that statistic after tonight. Without much to say I will say that the Bengals are a very good team. The Goodness of Cincinnati exceeds any schematic the Browns could create for the incredible offense the Bengals pack. With great humility, it is time we started respected the Cincinnati Bengals.

FULL EFFECT : KNICKS @ CAVS

The 2015 NBA Season is in full effect and ESPN is honored to present to fans a delightful NBA double-header tonight. In the first of two match-ups the New York Knicks will visit Cleveland to take on LeBron James and the Cavaliers. Carmelo Anthony and the Knicks have shown signs early in 2015. Their 2-2 start isn't a reason to celebrate but it definitely isn't a reason to panic. New York with second year coach Derek Fisher and a plethora of upcoming players like Forward Cleanthony Early and rookie Forward/Center Kristaps Porzingls have a promising future that might produce a Playoff berth in 2015. Tonight they'll face the 3-1 Cavaliers at Quicken Loans Arena. LeBron James comes into tonight averaging 22.0 points per game. We'll see if this is one of those nights where he lights it up. FADING FAST : MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL (WEEK 8)

After Sunday night, the Green Bay Packers no longer join the several teams that remain undefeated in the 2015 NFL season. One of those undefeated teams, the Carolina Panthers, match-up against the Indianapolis Colts  tonight on Monday Night Football. The Panthers will be participating in their second consecutive week of primetime football while the Indianapolis Colts will be featured in their 3rd of the season. I'm here to give you the rundown of what we can expect from tonight's game. Kickoff for the game will be at 8:30 p.m. E.T only on ESPN. Be sure to tune in.

Don't look now but the Indianapolis Colts are watching their season dwindle away. Indianapolis defeated the Houston Texans in Week 5 in a Thursday night match-up that had analyst believing that they were back on the right track. The deceitful three game winning streak was followed by a Week 6 loss to the New England Patriots that included a heinous 4th down call and and a Week 7 defeat to the New Orleans Saints. The Colts hold the 1st seed in the AFC South division. I predicted them ending this season with the second seed in the division but had no idea that they might not make the post-season. Despite the fact that the Texans have struggled, I like their chances of winning the division. I do not like the Colts chances of defeating the Carolina Panthers tonight at Bank of America Stadium. QB Andrew Luck has despite his last name produced and horrid 2015 season performance. Luck has thrown 9 interceptions in just 5 starts and the Colts defense has given up 20 touchdowns. If the Colts are unable to stop the Panthers rushing attack tonight things may get ugly. Hopefully the passing game of Indianapolis a early lead and have the Panthers playing from behind. If not though, The Colts and their head coach Chuck Pagano will definitely feel the pressure of criticism from their continued underachievement thus far.

Fan favorite QB Cam Newton has humbly continued to lead a hampered Carolina Panthers offense. Though his numbers haven't been great, his ability to win is sufficient enough. The Panthers defeated the Eagles last week on Sunday Night Football in a convincing 26-17 victory. Carolina forced Philadelphia to several three and outs, allowed only one touchdown and prevented Eagles offensive success despite the three interceptions Newton had thrown. HB Jonathan Stewart brought his contribution to the offense totting the rock for 125 yards on just 24 carries. Expect the Panthers rushing attack to march through the 24th ranked Colts defense tonight. It's completely difficult to doubt the 6-0 panthers, especially after the resilience they continue to show. If victorious tonight the Panthers will gain a three game lead on the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC South division. With half of the season behind them, the Panthers certainly can see the light at the end of the tunnel and salvation for their 2015 season showing.

DOMINATE TRAITS : MARQUEE MATCH-UPS (WEEK 8)

It's Week 8 of the 2015 NFL season and we're here to run down the match-ups NFL fans and analyst should pay close attention to this weekend. Already we are through the first half of the season and there are still several undefeated teams; the Patriots, Packers, Panthers, Bengals and Broncos. The Patriots stumped the triumphant Miami Dolphins out on Thursday Night Football to advance to 7-0. New England be watching today to see which teams may come to be an adversary later in the season. Well, with no further tarrying let's get into the Marquee Match-ups of Week 8.

Cincinnati Bengals @ Pittsburgh Steelers 1:00 p.m. E.T on CBS

Rivalry games are always a dandy in the NFL. The AFC North is no exception this norm. The Pittsburgh Steelers have dominated the Cincinnati Bengals last season in both of their season match-ups. Pittsburgh is probably still a little bit enraged about the dirty hit DB Reggie Nelson gave RB Le'Veon Bell last season, one that ended Le'Veon Bell's 2014 season term and led to a first round Playoff exit to one of the leagues best offensive teams. The question of the week though has been rather not  we will see QB Ben Rothlisberger? Big Ben has been out the last four weeks with a nagging left knee sprain but was reported as questionable for today's divisional match-up. Needless to say, Rothlisberger's return could mean trouble for the Bengals. Or should I say; usually it would mean trouble for the Bengals. This season thus far, nothing has meant trouble for the Bengals. Even when they trailed the Seattle Seahawks 24-7 in the 4th quarter in Week 5, the Bengals seemed untroubled. We cannot discount how consistent and convincing the Bengals have been this season. They rank third in scoring, have a +3 turnover ratio, and have given up only 13 touchdowns in six season games. Though I stated in a power rankings earlier this season that the Bengals still have to prove themselves, I cannot find a flaw within their schematic nor their 6-0 season record thus far. Maybe Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin has a few tricks up his sleeves to defend home field and knock Cincinnati off of their high horse.

Green Bay Packers @ Denver Broncos 8:25 p.m. E.T on NBC

Without a doubt the match-up of today has to be the Denver Broncos and the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football. These undefeated teams will battle it out at Sports Authority Stadium in Denver to see who will take home bragging rights. We saw Packers QB Aaron Rodgers surrender a few interceptions to a young St. Louis Rams defense in Week 6 and escape Lambeau Field with a 6-0 record thanks to a Damarious Randall deflection that sealed their win against the Chargers in Week 7. Denver dealt with the hardship on the Cleveland Browns in Week 6. Their victory against the Browns included 3 Peyton Manning interceptions and a overtime period for finalization. It will be interesting to see if the Broncos took time during their bye week (Week 7) to evaluate their offensive struggles. Despite being 29th in the league in total yards per game, the Broncos certainly take honor in there defensive success and are looking forward to matching up against a Packers offense that ranks 5th in points this season. This is a extremely close game to call. The outcome will be heavily predicated on whether the Denver defense can force QB Aaron Rodgers into a few turnovers via sack or the passing game. If the Packers happen get their rushing attack going though, Green Bay will get the win with a 10 point advantage.
