YOUNG & RESTLESS : THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL (WEEK 11)

Tonight, Thursday Night Football continues with a Week 11 match-up between the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans. Though both of these teams are non-playoff contenders, this game should be an even matched slugfest between to young up and coming teams. It's difficult for me to decide who will be a winner tonight but if I had to choose I'd side with the Jaguars who seem to have a bit of resolve in their blood. Nevertheless, kickoff for the match up is 8:25 p.m. E.T live from Jacksonville. Be sure to tune in only on NFL Network.

Tennessee figured they'd upset the Panthers in Week 10 after defeating the Saints a week prior. Well reality set in that they aren't prepared to play championship football just yet. After firing Ken Whisenhunt for irrational reasons, the Titans come into tonight trying to prove themselves as an upcoming team in the AFC. They haven't been to the post-season in over a decade but with the selection of rookie QB Marcus Mariota, things may get better. I expect the Jaguars to keep the Titans offense at bay tonight though. The Titans inability to run the football will play as a hindering factor on the road this evening.

Blake Bortles and the Jacksonville Jaguars escaped Baltimore with a victory thanks to a bonehead play by Ravens OLB Elvis Dumervil who face masked Bortles as time expired giving the Jags an extra play and what was game clinching field goal range. The Jags have been very competitive this season. No team has been able to march over them despite their unimpressive 3-6 record. Tonight I expect the Jaguars to ignite the home crowd in this AFC battle as they look to stay in contention for the AFC South wild card position.

FAIR GAME : MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL (WEEK 10)

In Week 10 of the NFL, the Houston Texans visit Cincinnati to take on the undefeated Bengals in a AFC showdown. We learned a lot about who is true and who is fraud this weekend and I'll stretch on that later on this week in a revised NFL power rankings. For now, let's get ready to enjoy some football with a big game tonight. Below I've outlined my beliefs on how I see this one turning out. The Bengals have been rolling on all cylinders. In Week 9 they humbled the Cleveland Browns on  Thursday Night, and are now looking to show the world why they are the best team in the AFC. A powerful Bengals running game features the combination of Giovanni Benard and Jeremy Hill, while the Bengals passing game features a plethora of dynamic receivers including  star studded wide out A.J. Green. The Bengals have the full package. The question is now will Andy Dalton finally lead them to a playoff victory. Presenting no clear weakness and showing resilience, Cincinnati might be the true team to beat in the AFC. They'll contend against a well rested Houston team tonight and come out on top with the victory. I don't have faith in the defensive attack of Houston. The spread offense of Cincinnati is sure to give Texans head coach Bill O' Brien a few migraines tonight.

The Texans have had a rough season thus far. They lost HB Arian Foster to season ending injury and have struggled to keep their defense healthy with both DE J.J Watt and DE Jadeveon Clowney playing with injuries. Tonight they'll be forced to play against arguably the best team in the AFC and even with QB Brian Hoyer playing exceptionally well, I don't believe their defense will be able to deal with the Bengals offense. A heavy dosage of HB Alfred Blue will only lead to third and long each possession. I'll be surprised if they escape the first half without facing a large deficit. This is a perfect opportunity for the Texans to show dignity on a national stage. They are staff with plenty of talent and are looking to present themselves honorable in the prime time lights. The task just may be too tough.

NO PITY : NFL MARQUEE MATCH-UPS (WEEK 10)

With the 2015 NFL Playoffs fast approaching, we can see teams begin to get a little more intense about these weekly outcomes. The Panthers and Packers attacked each other last Sunday afternoon, St. Louis DB Lamarcus Joyner attempted to take out Vikings QB Teddy Bridgewater (likely inactive today) and Broncos cornerback DB Aqib Talib decided that poking an eye out was the only way for him to get his frustration out after Denver surrendered a perfect season record to the struggling Colts. These teams along with others are nicked up this time of the season and the physicality of this profession is beginning to show forth. Regardless, these gentlemen still have a job to do and the task won't get any easier in Week 10 of the NFL. Below we'll elaborate on some match-ups we feel will be sure thrillers this Sunday afternoon. Be sure to tune in.

New England Patriots @ New York Giants 4:25 p.m. E.T on CBS

New York head coach Tom Coughlin and New England QB Tom Brady have met quite a few times in their careers. In two Super Bowl's and several season match-ups these color coordinate rivals seem to bash each other on the field when scheduled for a meeting. Giants QB Eli Manning has thrown 19 TD's this season and has a QB rating of 96.9. Quietly, the Giants rank 5th in the league in points per game and teams have a tough time slowing their dynamic passing game down. If there though is a team that can outscore them it's the New England Patriots. The 8-0 Patriots come in averaging 34.5 points per game and have intent on marching all over a Giants defense that allowed the New Orleans Saints 52 points in Week 8. When the Giants did defeat the Patriots, they did it with defense and a powerful running game. Considering that both of those things aren't apart of the Giants strengths I'll have to go with the Patriots in this one 31-17. Tune in to see how things play out.

Minnesota Vikings @ Oakland Raiders 4:05 p.m. E.T on FOX

This week's sleeper has to be this Minnesota Vikings and Oakland Raiders game. Both teams played physical match-ups against conference teams in Week 9. The Vikings escaped the Rams and the Raiders lost against the Steelers in a Heinz Field shootout. Considering that Vikings QB Teddy Bridgewater might not play today, this may give the Raiders offense an opportunity to take control of the time of possession statistic. I believe that the Minnesota Vikings are the best team in the NFC. They don't present any weakness. Their special teams is solid, as is their rushing attack, emergence of Stefan Figgs at WR is crucial and their defense is easily ranked top 5 in points allowed this season. The Raiders do alike with the Vikings have a very promising future with rookie WR Amari Cooper and QB Derek Carr. Oakland will be looking to advance to 6-4 and keep steady their race to get a Wild Card spot in the AFC. They'll have to deal with a fast hard-hitting Vikings defense today and if Minnesota has Teddy in the Lineup I don't see them coming out on top.Vikings 26 - Raiders 21.

Arizona Cardinals @ Seattle Seahawks 8:30 p.m. E.T on NBC

The (4-4) Seattle Seahawks and (6-2) Arizona Cardinals enjoyed sitting at home on their "bye" in Week 9. They'll match-up in a center stage Sunday Night Football showdown to see who has the mojo in the NFC West. The question is will Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch ever get back to being in "Beast Mode." The Seahawks haven't been really convincing this year and maybe the Cardinals will ice them at home tonight. Key word "maybe" that maybe will be predicated on QB Carson Palmer's performance against the legion of boom because HB Chris Johnson is likely to get roughed up tonight at Century Link Field. Even if a victory is manifested for the Seahawks tonight, they'll still trail the Cardinals by a whole game. Keep your eyes on the Cardinals who still have to visit St. Louis and play the Cincinnati Bengals later in the season. I like Seattle tonight, 20-17.

Denver Broncos @ Kansas City Chiefs 4:25 p.m. E.T on CBS

• Kansas City well rested after Bye in Week 9.
• Broncos seem to have offensive flaws exposed in Week 9.
• DB Aqib Talib will not participate (1-game suspension).

Miami Dolphins @ Philadelphia Eagles 1:00 p.m. E.T on CBS

• Both teams still chasing Wild Card.
• Eagles trail Giants NFC East by one game.
• Miami Dolphins have lost two straight games.

JET FUEL : THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL (WEEK 10)

Week 10 of Thursday Night Football will be held live from the Meadowlands at Met Life Stadium where the Buffalo Bills will match-up against the New York Jets in a AFC East battle that could have implications on the AFC Wild Card picture this upcoming winter. This will be Bills head coach Rex Ryan's first return to New York since being fired in the off-season. The Jets currently sit just one game ahead of Buffalo in the division and thus, a victory against Rex's former team couldn't be more ideal consider the times. Below I've broken down why I believe the Bills will win this game and what viewers can expect from this match-up.

Most NFL teams will agree that they perform best when they have their starting QB in the lineup on game day. Well, the Buffalo Bills are no exception to the rule. I know that NFL Analyst Heath Evans told us not to count on the Bills down the stretch but I contrarily think we definitely should in 2015. When they have had QB Tyrod Taylor, HB LeSean Mccoy and WR Sammy Watkins in the lineup the Bills have a season record of 3-1.  Two of their season losses came against the undefeated Cincinnati Bengals and New England Patriots. New York escaped the Jacksonville Jaguars 23-28 Sunday afternoon and will be dealing with a whole different offensive monster this week. I expect the Bills to come out victorious in a convincing 19-14 final. I expect a heavy dosage of McCoy and continual three and out possessions for the Jets offense. If Buffalo is able to get an early lead, New York might be stuck playing an uphill battle all evening. It'll be interesting to see how it turns out.

J.. E..T...S Jets, Jets, Jets. This year's 5-3 New York Jets team is beginning to look like a club destined for the playoffs. After being destroyed by the Raiders in Week 8, New York was able to halt the Jaguars late game rally with a fourth quarter interception to get a Week 9 victory. On a short week, they''ll have to bring their A game against a Bills offense that ranks 8th in the league in points per game. Offensively the Jets will need to pound the rock with running back Chris Ivory and wear down a youthful Bills defense. If Ryan Fitzpatrick gets careless in the passing game however, we may experience a quieted Jets crowd for the majority of the game. A Jets victory here would put quite a hamper on the Bills chances of making it into the post-season so expect intensity levels to be at their peak. Enjoy.
