After the Philadelphia Eagles stormed back from 14 points down to defeat the Indianapolis Colts in a Monday Night thriller the question being asked now is can anybody stop this offense? Incredibly the answer maybe as difficult as tackling toddler sized Darren Sproles. As the Colts led the game 17 to 3 going into the second half, it looked all but insurmountable for Chip kelly's offense who visited the red zone twice in the 1st half and only rendered 3 points. After a Trent Richardson fumble the Eagles recovered in Colts territory and would march in for the score just a series of plays later to tie the game. In the 4th, Andrew Luck coughed the ball up on an interception to newly acquired safety Malcolm Jenkins and at that point I knew this game was the goodnight kiss. A few controversial penalties along with a plethora of Lesean Mccoy gnashes Chuck Pagano simply ran out of Luck. The ability for Andrew Luck to make miracle comeback performances are fading fast. As his 3rd year initiates, team coordinators league wide are more than ready for his allusive short-deep passing scheme. This scheme particularly gets the safeties to cheat up on short throws enabling Luck to just toss it over the top sporadically. That scheme is running dry. But who knows, Carolina started 0-2 last season and marched their way into first place so it should be interesting to see how things play out.
