MORALE CODE FOR BEAST MODE

Though it wasn't a "50 burger" like Steve Mariucci would say, after producing a total of 35 points on the sparing Arizona Cardinals defense in Week 16 one could say that pretty much everything that could go right for the Seattle Seahawks Sunday night did. What did go wrong was the critical examine of a celebration by running back Marshawn Lynch. After a 79-yd TD run, the exuberant Lynch took it a little too far. His 5th grade crotch grab was a unsportsmanlike maneuver that will cost him $11,000.00 in American cash. Nevertheless, Mr. Beast Mode was definitely about that action Sunday Night as he totaled 113 yards for the game. Currently at the top of the NFC the Seahawks can and more than likely will clinch a #1 NFC seeding in the 2014 Postseason as they attempt to win yet another Super Bowl Lombardi trophy. If I was Lynch I would see if my 12th man could summon up my costly expense of $11,000 this Christmas. Happy Holidays to all the families out there. THE BIRTH LLC

CHRISTMAS DAY CAVS

Tonight NBA icon LeBron James relives the excitement of American Airlines Arena as the Cleveland Cavaliers head to South Beach to take on the Miami Heat. After a NBA Finals lost last season the Heat were scattered as they watched all three superstars : Chris Bosh, Dwayne Wade and LeBron James finish out their 2014 contracts and become free agents. All but LeBron returned to Miami. Alternatively, Mr. James decided that a return to Ohio was better for his family and his legacy. Not long after reuniting with his jersey #23 the Cleveland Cavs fans  reunited  with the box office and assured a Quicken Loans arena full capacity for the NBA 2014-15 season. Tonight being not one of those nights, the Cavs will have a tough time isolating against a Heat defense who maximizes efficiency on fast breaks caused by turnover. Though their losing record is due to a rough western conference filled schedule at the beginning of this season the Cavs are very much still prime for an Eastern Conference positioning with the elite come this spring. Tip off is tonight at 5:00 pm E.T. on ABC.  The boo birds have flown south just for a King James appearance. We are all witnesses. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from THE BIRTH LLC.

MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL

Tonight the Denver Broncos head to Paul Brown Stadium to take on the Cincinnati Bengals. Coming off an impressive win against the Browns, the Bengals will be looking to make a statement in this game. One that says that they are actually a legitimate force to be reckoned with this season. They're tired of being the hoax of the NFL with their pretentious regular season play and disappointing post-season performances. Not to mention the fact that the Pittsburgh Steelers sit only one game behind in the division race and a loss tonight would put them in 2nd place of the AFC North. Their opponent the Denver Broncos sit comfortably at the top of their Division and can secure a 1st round bye with a win tonight. Running back C.J Anderson has emerged within the Denver Broncos offense giving Peyton a little rest on that wood-stick arm of his which might help contribute in producing a consecutive Super Bowl appearance for the Broncos this upcoming February. With not much to lose the Broncos come to town with a 29.1 points per game average which will be tested against the stingy Bengal defense who disallowed Johnny Football a single TD last week. I have no prediction for this game. What I do know is that it will require Andy Dalton to live up to his pay rate. Happy Holidays from THE BIRTH LLC.

THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL

Tonight the Tennessee Titans take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in a brutal divisional match-up. Both teams are below .500 and have rosters full of guys competing for their 2015 employment. Nevertheless, any NFL game is one that is intense and passionate and though these two teams will not make the post-season this year they certainly still have something to prove to national viewers tonight. I'm expecting a Jacksonville victory, 19 to 7. Tune in tonight @ 8:25 pm E.T. only on NFL Network. Happy Holidays.

NFL PLAYOFFS IMPLICATIONS [2014]

In the NFL all it takes is one loss to end your run towards that Lombardi trophy so the risk and reward approach is a give and take. As the season approaches its end you can definitely tell that the stakes have been raised. In Week 15 we saw teams step into their destiny. The Indianapolis Colts, Denver Broncos and New England Patriots sealed their Divisions and guaranteed playoff births in the AFC. In the NFC the Detroit Lions regained 1st place of their division and the Dallas Cowboys did the same by defeating the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night. The AFC North is still up for grabs as 3 of the 4 teams within the Division currently hold Playoff positions. Identically the NFC South has rendered not won winning team this season but is as well still a mystery yet to be resolved. Maybe we should call Scooby Doo and the gang. I'm predicting a New Orleans Saints division clinch within the next few weeks though. Soon I will be telling you my Super Bowl Prediction which was seemingly a head scratcher this particular season. Please examine the current playoff picture at the link below and stay tuned in for another exciting NFL Post-season which is just a few weeks away. Happy Holidays.

TORNADO HITS LOS ANGLES

A small, rare tornado raged through a South Los Angeles neighborhood Friday morning, launching wood and trash into the air amid a rainstorm that pelted Southern California.
The unusual event occurred about 9:20 a.m. near the intersection of Gage and Vermont avenues in the Vermont-Slauson area.
The National Weather Service confirmed late Friday afternoon that the high winds were indeed a "small EF0 tornado." Such tornadoes have wind speeds of 65 to 85 mph, the weather service said.
The tornado caused damage from Vermont and Gage avenues to Figueroa and 57th streets, the weather service said.
Amateur video of the tornado show debris sailing through the air and roof tiles circling wildly overhead and then coming down with a crash on top of a home.
The roof of an apartment building was lifted off into the air and a day care center was damaged, residents said. The tornado lasted less than a minute, according to witnesses.
"All of sudden, we heard banging and booming and my door flew open," said Candy Ward, who had been watching TV with her granddaughter.
"We looked outside and everything was flying down the sidewalk. We saw the roof of the top of my building come flying off," Ward said. "It was really wild."
Another resident of the building said she came out of her apartment and saw a two-by-four fly by.
An employee at a nearby day care center, Garr Learning Center, said she was fixing food in the kitchen when something out the window suddenly caught her eye.
"I looked up and saw a trash can and (stuff) flying," Deborah Lavergne said. "It got dark, then it got real cold. The wind, it just took off."
The day care center's sign was damaged and the windows were blown out, owner Gerae Vernon said.
"We saw the winds twirl up in the air 20 to 30 feet high," Vernon said. "It took trees, anything that was in its way. It was trees, debris, wood, trash cans - it was all being whirled up in the wind by this tornado."
Children at the day care center were safely kept away from the windows and were not harmed, Lavergne and Vernon said.
"I've been here 56 years and I have never seen a tornado," Lavergne said. "It's my first time. ... It was crazy."
Katherine Main of the Los Angeles Fire Department said there had been several reports of a "tornado" in South Los Angeles.
In its forecast for Friday's storm, the National Weather Service had said small tornadoes were possible in Southern California.
A representative for the service's Oxnard forecast office initially said they too had received calls about a possible tornado in South L.A. but had so far been unable to verify the phenomenon.
A field crew was likely heading to the scene to examine the damage and see if a tornado had occurred, the service's Eric Boldt said. The service later announced on Twitter that the event was an "EF0 tornado."

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY - LUKE 1

Luke 1 King James Version (KJV)

Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us,
Even as they delivered them unto us, which from the beginning were eyewitnesses, and ministers of the word;
It seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first, to write unto thee in order, most excellent Theophilus,
That thou mightest know the certainty of those things, wherein thou hast been instructed.
There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.
And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.
And they had no child, because that Elisabeth was barren, and they both were now well stricken in years.
And it came to pass, that while he executed the priest's office before God in the order of his course,
According to the custom of the priest's office, his lot was to burn incense when he went into the temple of the Lord.
10 And the whole multitude of the people were praying without at the time of incense.
11 And there appeared unto him an angel of the Lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense.
12 And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him.
13 But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.
14 And thou shalt have joy and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his birth.
15 For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb.
16 And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God.
17 And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.
18 And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years.
19 And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings.
20 And, behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season.
21 And the people waited for Zacharias, and marvelled that he tarried so long in the temple.
22 And when he came out, he could not speak unto them: and they perceived that he had seen a vision in the temple: for he beckoned unto them, and remained speechless.
23 And it came to pass, that, as soon as the days of his ministration were accomplished, he departed to his own house.
24 And after those days his wife Elisabeth conceived, and hid herself five months, saying,
25 Thus hath the Lord dealt with me in the days wherein he looked on me, to take away my reproach among men.
26 And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,
27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.
28 And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.
29 And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.
30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.
31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus.
32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
36 And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.
37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.
38 And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.
39 And Mary arose in those days, and went into the hill country with haste, into a city of Juda;
40 And entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elisabeth.
41 And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost:
42 And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.
43 And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?
44 For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.
45 And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.
46 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,
47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.
48 For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.
49 For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name.
50 And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation.
51 He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.
52 He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree.
53 He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away.
54 He hath helped his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy;
55 As he spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed for ever.
56 And Mary abode with her about three months, and returned to her own house.
57 Now Elisabeth's full time came that she should be delivered; and she brought forth a son.
58 And her neighbours and her cousins heard how the Lord had shewed great mercy upon her; and they rejoiced with her.
59 And it came to pass, that on the eighth day they came to circumcise the child; and they called him Zacharias, after the name of his father.
60 And his mother answered and said, Not so; but he shall be called John.
61 And they said unto her, There is none of thy kindred that is called by this name.
62 And they made signs to his father, how he would have him called.
63 And he asked for a writing table, and wrote, saying, His name is John. And they marvelled all.
64 And his mouth was opened immediately, and his tongue loosed, and he spake, and praised God.
65 And fear came on all that dwelt round about them: and all these sayings were noised abroad throughout all the hill country of Judaea.
66 And all they that heard them laid them up in their hearts, saying, What manner of child shall this be! And the hand of the Lord was with him.
67 And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost, and prophesied, saying,
68 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people,
69 And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David;
70 As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began:
71 That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us;
72 To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant;
73 The oath which he sware to our father Abraham,
74 That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear,
75 In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.
76 And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways;
77 To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins,
78 Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us,
79 To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.
80 And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, and was in the deserts till the day of his shewing unto Israel.

JOHNNY MAN ENOUGH?

Alright good folks the time has finally arrived for Johnny football. Manziel will make his debut start against the Bengals this Sunday and the TV ratings will without a doubt reach their peak. Brian Hoyer will take Manziel's place on the sideline as supporting cast. Hoyer had a few quality showings this NFL season but after 2 consecutive Browns losses and 3 straight games without a passing touchdown the Browns are looking to make some offensive changes. Fan favorite Johnny Manziel will assume the position. Coach Marvin Lewis of the Bengals referred to Manziel as a "midget" earlier this week and set even more fire to a diminishing Bengals season. The Cincinnati cats took a spanking last week against the Pittsburgh Steelers who along side with the Baltimore Ravens sit only a half game behind the the #1 seed in the AFC North. Will Manziel continue to polish his highlight filled resume this week at a brand new level or will Manziel be in for a real man awakening. Tune in this weekend and find out.

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY (KJV)

Galatians 4 King James Version (KJV)

Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;
But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.
Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:
But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
Howbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods.
But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?
10 Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years.
11 I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.
12 Brethren, I beseech you, be as I am; for I am as ye are: ye have not injured me at all.
13 Ye know how through infirmity of the flesh I preached the gospel unto you at the first.
14 And my temptation which was in my flesh ye despised not, nor rejected; but received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus.
15 Where is then the blessedness ye spake of? for I bear you record, that, if it had been possible, ye would have plucked out your own eyes, and have given them to me.
16 Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?
17 They zealously affect you, but not well; yea, they would exclude you, that ye might affect them.
18 But it is good to be zealously affected always in a good thing, and not only when I am present with you.
19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,
20 I desire to be present with you now, and to change my voice; for I stand in doubt of you.
21 Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law?
22 For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.
23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.
24 Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.
25 For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.
26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
27 For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.
28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.
29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.
30 Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.
31 So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.

CAM NEWTON INJURED IN CAR CRASH

Yesterday afternoon breaking news hit that Carolina QB Cam Newton was injured in a car accident. Coming off an impressive showing at the Mercedes Superdome,  the Panthers will enter week 15 without their head signal caller. Currently only 1 game behind the Saints and Falcons they are hoping to push themselves into this upcoming NFL post-season. Newton fractured a few back muscles in the accident and seeing that his health hadn't fully returned from a broken rib situation early in the season he'll probably be out the remainder of the season. HALOTI NGATA SUSPENDED 4 GAMES

Baltimore Ravens defensive tackle Haloti Ngata has been suspended for 4 games for violating NFL substance abuse policy by using an unauthorized enhancement. With the Ravens currently in the hunt for the playoffs and an unfortunate loss to the San Diego Chargers this Sunday, the Ngata incident will definitely be a concern in upcoming games against AFC competitors.

"I made a mistake, and I own this," Ngata said in a statement. "I took Adderall and take full responsibility for doing this. I am deeply sorry and broken up over this. I let down my family, my teammates, Ravens fans and myself. My hope is that the Ravens make the playoffs, and I believe they can do this. And, then I can come back and help us win." - Haloti Ngata

Rookie Timmy Jernigan with step into the spotlight and potentially show why he belongs in this league with the elite. Also, with the return of Asa Jackson the Ravens secondary should be primed to have a little more heady edge in their pass rush. It'll be interesting to see how the season turns out.
