With Serge Ibaka in the paint to clog up penetration from Ginobili and Parker, The Oklahoma City Thunder have a credible chance of advancing to the finals and playing the Miami Heat. Will this be a rematch from 2012? This has been a very excitting post-season to say the least and as the NBA Season comes to a crashing end, Ibaka is crashing every glass to rebound a chance at the NBA title. OKC currently trails in the Western Conference finals series 2 games to 1 but will have a chance to even things up tonight at the Chesapeake Arena. Game 4 tonight on TNT @ 9:00 pm.

"He thought "everything was cordial" until T.I. approached him again while he was eating at Fatburger in the early morning hours on Sunday.
This time around Mayweather wasn't so open to chat and told the 33-year-old rapper, "You need to get the f--k outta my face. That's what you better do."

PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA VISITS AFGHANASTAN [2014]
Obama's surprise trip came as the U.S. and NATO withdraw most of their forces ahead of a year-end deadline. Obama is seeking to keep a small number of U.S. troops in Afghanistan beyond 2014 to train Afghan security forces and conduct counterterrorism missions. But that plan is contingent on Karzai's successor signing a bilateral security agreement that Karzai has refused to authorize.
Ben Rhodes, Obama's deputy national security adviser, said the president had not finalized the troop decision and no announcement was expected during the Afghanistan visit. But Rhodes indicated it was possible Obama could announce his decision during a foreign policy speech Wednesday at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, New York.
At least 2,181 members of the U.S. military have died during the nearly 13-year Afghan war and thousands more have been wounded. There are still about 32,800 U.S. troops in Afghanistan, down from a high of 100,000 in mid-2010, when as Obama sent in additional soldiers to quell escalating violence.

WESTERN CONFERENCE FINALS [NBA]
The old and rusty San Antonio Spurs have replenished their engine with high Mileage oil taking a 2-0 lead over the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference Finals. This rematch from 2012 is sure to be a thriller but with Oklahoma City Thunder Power Forward Serge Ibaka missing the remainder of the NBA Playoffs it will be quite difficult for the Thunder to defend the interior the way they need to. Honestly they shouldn't have advanced against the Los Angles Clippers who let mental errors overpower their effectiveness . Leading game 5 by 7 points with just 56 seconds to go, the Clippers somehow managed to let OKC punk them out of a series that was completely theirs to own. No worries, if Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook are to advance this round it won't be because San Antonio let them. Lack of veteran leadership and poise is the least of the Spurs issues, as if their are any.

EASTERN CONFERENCE [NBA]
As the NBA Playoffs make a turn for the finish fans will get the match-up they expected in the eastern conference : Indiana Pacers vs. Miami Heat. After an unimpressive NBA Playoff start against the Hawks, the Pacers have turned up the intensity finishing off the Washington Wizards in just 6 games. The well rested Miami Heat unlike last year have the 2nd seed in the Eastern conference and will be forced to advance only if they can overcome the disadvantage of not having home court. Needless to say, LeBron and company aren't in any way shape or form intimidated by the challenge and will be looking to make their 4th straight NBA Finals appearance in June. Should be exciting.

LEBRON ON A TERROR
With the San Antonio Spurs nudging the Portland Trail Blazers out of Playoff longevity, LeBron James and the Miami Heat are looking to make implications for another NBA Finals appearance themselves. In game 4 versus the Brooklyn Nets, James totaled 49 points just one short of his NBA Playoff Career high. After the game he expressed his deeper desire to be ensured that his team tallies wins, making individual glory secondary to the success of the collaborative. As the month of May comes to an end it is looking to be a extremely dynamic finish to a NBA Playoffs that has had the most round 1 game 7's in league history. Besides the shady incident with Donald sterling, the NBA is looking to make a prestige return as one of the more popular professional sports worldwide by creating more diversity, eliminating prejudice and establishing a league founded on principles of integrity. Soon we will see whether LeBron can make the 3-peat. Stay tuned.

LILLARD THE LUXURY
What a game winning shot last night by Damian Lillard. The Portland Trail Blazers advance now and will face the winner of the Dallas Mavericks San Antonio Spurs series. Yet another disappointing season for Dwight Howard and the Houston Rockets. Honestly there is no one to blame. They simply lost a well played series where the other team made more plays then they were able to. Damian Lilliard is now on a road to iconic status and after last night he has inked his name in the book of the leagues most clutch players. What a luxury.

ADAM SILVER BANS DONALD STERLING
After Donald Sterlings preposturous remarks regarding prejudice, NBA Commisioner has enforced warranted implications. Tuesday April 29th, the Los Angles Clippers owner was fined 2.5 million and banned indefinitely from the NBA. Sterling still claims that the recording was an edited fallacy and that his GF simply created these instances out of spite. Clearly, the lengthy audio tape is Donald Sterlings voice conveying racial ideologies and cutural practices contradictory to the ideal of NBA administration.
The Clippers have since returned to their impressive play on the court to revive their hopes at a NBA Championship this year. Up 3 to 2 on the Golden State Warriors, they will be looking to finish strong and advance unto the next round. Tweets from players league-wide have published showing the enthusiastic support for Adam Silvers' decision and the future of racism in the National Basketball Association.
