After all the fuss about how in previous years appointed championship games undermined teams within the NCAA who had productive seasons but were perceived at a lesser prestige, the administration thereof presented a change. This year, the newly implemented NCAA college football playoff allowed 4 selected seeds to compete at a chance at taking home the national championship for their beloved institutions. After defeating the Alabama Crimson Tide in a marvelous upset, the Ohio State Buckeyes matched up against the Oregon Ducks for all of the marbles. The Buckeyes produced 42 total points and steam rolled the Oregon Ducks 42-20 on prime-time television. Moreover, this may have been a statement year for the development of the college football playoff format. Seeing that Ohio State came into the tournament as the #4 seed they wouldn't have even had a chance to contend for the National title if preceding rules were still in continuance. Going forward, this newly introduced NCAA college football playoff may create for a more interesting climax for upcoming college football seasons and make way for underdog teams to claim the National title. On behalf of
THE BIRTH LLC we commend the Ohio State Buckeyes on an impressive season. Peace & Love.
