LITTLE LEVY

NFL sources have now reported that the Detroit Lions linebacker DeAndre Levy has been granted by a four-year extension. Numbers are still being negotiated but reporters are saying Levy will become one of the leagues highest paid players at his position when things are finalized  Levy registered an incredible 150 tackles and 2.5 sacks for the 2nd ranked Detroit Lions defense last season.  Levy's pay was well deserved. His production clearly at the top of the top and his loyalty to the organization has been of humility and dedication. Congratulations on your new contract DeAndre Levy.

The Detroit Lions certainly grieved the departure of All-Pro defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh earlier in the off-season. They countered the loss of Suh by signing long-time Baltimore Ravens' defensive tackle Haloti Ngata. Detroit will also be getting linebacker Stephen Tulloch back from injury in the upcoming season which will help continue the unbending Lions run defense Suffering the heartbreak of last years postseason defeat to the Dallas Cowboys, the Lions are due to make an more convincing statement in the 2015 season. They will be challenged in a NFC North division that has Minnesota rejoicing over the return of Adrian Peterson and a Green Bay Packers adversary that came just one game of the Super Bowl last season. The goal for the Lions organization must extend beyond the obtaining of a Wild Card spot. Detroit fans want more. Luckily they'll be endowed with the luxury of Levy.
