The Chicago Bears beat the Minnesota Vikings up on the field last week but lost on the scoreboard by the score of 23-20. What we do see from Chicago is a humbled QB Jay Cutler combined on the field with a nice running game and hard hitting Bears defense. This new tough nose style of play is likely do to new head coach John Fox who does not believe in finesse and being cute. Tonight against the Chargers, the Bears need to pound the rock and keep Phillip Rivers tucked away on the sideline. I like Chicago's chances in this one. They may give the Chargers problems with their pass rush.

The San Diego Super Chargers still have Phillip Rivers and therefore still have a chance to compete with any team in the league. They do trail the Denver Broncos by 6 games in the AFC West and currently sit last in the division but that doesn't mean they haven't competed this year. The Chargers are flawed in a few areas, they don't have a consistent running game and they force Rivers to pass the ball extremely too much. Well, entering into November that may come to be an issue. With the wear and tear of the season looming, the Chargers may get roughed up at home tonight.
