LIONS IN THE SEA? - MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL (WEEK 4)

Monday Night Football kicks off tonight with two NFC teams looking to redefine themselves. The Detroit Lions (0-3) will visit Century Link Field to face the Seattle Seahawks (1-2) in a pivotal game that could tilt the morale of both contenders. On a partly cloudy night in Seattle a few things are likely to take place and we're here to tell you what those things are and exactly how we think this game will turn out.

The Seahawks got their first win of 2015 in Week 3 against the Chicago Bears. The victory was fueled by the return of superstar safety Kam Chancellor  who helped pitch a defensive shutout 26-0. In addition to the return of Chancellor, the well renowned 12th man crowd also had its effect on a Bears offense that was without QB Jay Cutler. TE Jimmy Graham finally made his contribution to the Seahawks offense grabbing 7 receptions for 83 yards and a TD. Tonight Graham will be aiming for the same type of production against a Lions defense that looks despaired. Though the Hawks will be without "Beast Mode" Marshawn Lynch and will have to summon a quality passing attack from QB Russell Wilson, it would be quite heinous to doubt Seattle's likeliness of coming out victorious at home. Look for the Seahawks to dominate the special teams game and time of possession statistic to come out on top in what should be a low scoring game.

Though the Lions won't have to deal with RB Marshawn Lynch, they'll still have to find a way to get a first down. Yes, Detroit needs not to be reminded that they have converted 13/35 on third downs this season and have produced all of nothing in the running game. To add insult to injury, RB Joique Bell is ruled out for tonight game but more importantly, LB DeAndre Levy won't be accompanying the Lions defense either out there tonight. Well, at least offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi can use his passing mastermind to draw up schemes to gash the Seahawks defense, hopefully. It's hard to pick the Lions in a game of this magnitude but I'm sure they relish the opportunity to prove the entire sports world wrong in primetime lights tonight.  If not they'll head home to Detroit 0-4, four games behind their division rival Green Bay Packers.
