The time has finally arrived. June 4th, 2015 sets the stage for this years annual NBA Finals between the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers. These teams met only twice during the regular season splitting the match-ups 1-1. The Golden State Warriors ranked 1st in the Wastern Conference all season and ended the Western Conference Finals in 5 games to add impression on their already respected prestige. The Cavs on the other hand, were ranked 2nd in the Eastern Conference coming into the Playoffs and ran into a couple a of scares against the Chicago Bulls in the semi-finals round. After finally advancing to the Eastern Conference finals, they matched up against the #1 seeded Atlanta Hawks. Though without Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving, the Cavs issued the Hawks the sweep, ending the series in Game 4 at Quicken Loans Arena with a bold 20 point victory. The glory from advancing to the Finals has subsided for both clubs and ffter over a week of rest for both teams, they'll meet tonight in Game 1 of the NBA Finals live from Oakland, CA at Oracle Arena.
Cavs guard Kyrie Irving told reporters earlier this week that his leg inhibition (ankle and knee injury) is slow process for recovery. LeBron James attribute of leadership has landed him his yes, a fifth straight NBA Finals appearance and he is not looking to come up short.
