TELL COACH I'M BACK

During this week of OTA's, NFL teams delighted as they watched their players return to the practice field to forward the preparation necessary for the upcoming 2015 NFL season. The Dallas Cowboys were thrilled to see linebacker Shaun Lee geared up. Lee missed the majority of the 2014 season with a torn ACL. His Cowboys came just one game short of the NFC Championship due to a controversial last play in the Divisional round against the Green Bay Packers where Dez Bryant allegedly did not make the catch. Nevertheless, new year, new opportunity for the revamped Dallas Cowboys who are more than glad to add their all-pro linebacker back with their NFC East Division Champion roster.

The NFC North Minnesota Vikings finished the 2014 season with a impressive 7-9 record. Their Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater spent his 2014 rookie season in the starting lineup where he was forced to succeed in many 3rd and long situations. A horrid Vikings running attack was due to the absence of superstar HB Adrian Peterson who was suspended for disorderly conduct in a controversial domestic abuse case with his son. Peterson ran an outstanding 2,000 plus yard season in 2013 and it was quite untimely for him to have that type of shortcoming when he did. The return of Adrian Peterson came earlier this week. Arguably, the Vikings may now be the team to beat in the NFC North. With the Chicago Bears dismissing Brandon Marshall and the Lions saying farewell to Suh and Bush, the Vikings may see themselves with a 11 game wining season in 2015.

Super Bowl 47 champion tight-end Dennis Pitta dislocated his hip early in the 2014 NFL season. The Baltimore Ravens knew that his absence would be costly for the team but no one imagined the Baltimore Ravens to make it all the way to the Divisional Round like they did in 2014, losing to the Super Bowl 49 champions without him. While the Ravens said farewell to DT Haloti Ngata and WR Torrey Smith, they'll gladly welcome back Dennis Pitta who will be a prime target for Joe Flacco this season. In a dwindling AFC North division, the Baltimore Ravens may clinch themselves the division title barring any untimely injuries in 2015. It'll take grit and only time will tell.
