I KNOW THEY CAN'T STANLEY

Congratulations to the Chicago Blackhawks who capped off an incredible 2014-15 NHL season with a Stanley Cup Finals Championship. Chicago defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning in the Stanley Cup Finals 4-2 finishing things off last night at the United Center 2-0. The countless missed offensive opportunities for the Lightning to convert a goal will be the sorrowful thought going into the off-season. They surely hoped they could bring another title back down south to Florida but fell short to rather an honorable opponent. Chicago Defensemen Duncan Keith broke the goose egg scoreboard during the 2nd period off a rebound shot that sucked all the momentum from the Tampa Bay box. The Blackhawks won the shots on goal statistic 25-32 and went on to prove why their rep is impeccable.

After their second Stanley Cup Finals win in less than five years is it now safe to call the Chicago Blackhawks a NHL Dynasty? Sure household names like Saad, Kane, Kruger, Toews and head coach Joe Quenneville continue to circulate the media over the last few years and for obvious reasons. Credit is due to a Blackhawks squad that knocked off Stanley Cup contenders credible of it all in the Anaheim Ducks and Tampa Bay Lightning. The story of the series which has been a undermined topic was the ineffective work by superstar Tyler Johnson for the Lightning. The Blackhawks kept Johnson completely alienated as he scored just 1 goal the entire series. Only a dynastic team could render such a lethal defensive effort to stop a streaky shooter like Johnson right in his tracks. Congratulations to Duncan Keith for his effort in the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs as he was honored with Finals MVP after the game. They may hate the Blackhawks but we know they can't Stanley, it's all over for the competitions, better luck next year.
