BEST WESTERN - NBA PLAYOFFS [2015]

Tonight the 2015 NBA Playoffs  continue on TNT with a showdown of two western conference match-ups both in Game 5 of their respected series. First, James Harden and the #2 Houston Rockets will look to close out the #7 Dallas Mavericks live from the Toyota center at 8:00 p.m. E.T on TNT. Then after that, the #3 Los Angles Clippers will look to regain the series lead on the #6 San Antonio Spurs live from Staples Center at 10:30 p.m. on TNT. Through bloopers, imagery and analysis,  the NBA on TNT Hosted by Charles Barkley, Shaquille O'Neal, Ernie Johnson & Kenny "The Jet" Smith, continues to liven the 2015 NBA Playoffs as we prepare for the NBA Finals coming this June. Tonight features a west only showcase, as two eastern conference series have already finalized. Tune in tonight at 8:00 p.m. on TNT for more exciting 2015 NBA Playoffs basketball.

Sunday night, things got a little bit chippy in Game 4 of the Houston and Dallas series. As guard Rajon Rondo watched from the bench, Rockets forward Josh Smith bucketed 23 points and made a few jaw jargon's towards Richard Jefferson in the 2nd half of their Game 5 loss. Dallas refused to be swept, especially at the American Airlines Arena defeated the Rockets 121-109 Sunday night. They were led by shooting guard Monta Ellis who rendered a game high 31 points. Tonight, the stage will shift back to Houston where the Rockets have yet to surrender a home loss in the 2015 NBA Playoffs. As the Golden State Warriors await the first round outcome, the Rockets may need to expedite their first round advancement. We'll see if the Rockets show a bit of urgency tonight to fend off a pestering Mavericks team. NBA on TNT will host the tip off of this match-up at 8:00 p.m. E.T. Tune in.

The Clippers stepped up to the plate and produced a well needed road win against the San Antonio Spurs to tie the series at 2-2 Sunday afternoon. Tonight, they return to the Staples Center to host Game 5 of another competitive meeting with the defending champs. In Game 4, Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard led the Spurs with 26 points and 7 rebounds. Clippers out scored the Spurs 114-105 shooting a lethal 53.6% from the field. If they continue to produce this type of offensive power, they can erase the public ridicule tregarding their inability to win when it matters. Guard Chris Paul's 34 points and 7 assist is the wave they'll need to ride tonight is they plan on pushing ahead to a 3-2 lead in the series. Certainly, the Spurs have their eyes on taking the lead themselves so watch for yet another physical match-up between two of the best teams in the league. Sad thing is only one can advance.

LUKE 12 (KJV)

Luke 12 King James Version (KJV)

12 In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.
For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.
Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.
And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.
But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.
Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God?
But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.
Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:
But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.
10 And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.
11 And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say:
12 For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.
13 And one of the company said unto him, Master, speak to my brother, that he divide the inheritance with me.
14 And he said unto him, Man, who made me a judge or a divider over you?
15 And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.
16 And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:
17 And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?
18 And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods.
19 And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.
20 But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?
21 So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.
22 And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.
23 The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.
24 Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?
25 And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?
26 If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest?
27 Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
28 If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?
29 And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.
30 For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.
31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.
32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
33 Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth.
34 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
35 Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning;
36 And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.
37 Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.
38 And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.
39 And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.
40 Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.
41 Then Peter said unto him, Lord, speakest thou this parable unto us, or even to all?
42 And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season?
43 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
44 Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath.
45 But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken;
46 The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.
47 And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.
48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
49 I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?
50 But I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straitened till it be accomplished!
51 Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:
52 For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three.
53 The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
54 And he said also to the people, When ye see a cloud rise out of the west, straightway ye say, There cometh a shower; and so it is.
55 And when ye see the south wind blow, ye say, There will be heat; and it cometh to pass.
56 Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time?
57 Yea, and why even of yourselves judge ye not what is right?
58 When thou goest with thine adversary to the magistrate, as thou art in the way, give diligence that thou mayest be delivered from him; lest he hale thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and the officer cast thee into prison.
59 I tell thee, thou shalt not depart thence, till thou hast paid the very last mite.

KNUCKLE SANDWICH - MAYWEATHER VS. PACQUIAO [2015]

After six long years, the highly anticipated Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao fight is set to take place live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena this Saturday May 2nd  in Las Vegas, NV. The fight will be showcased via pay per view on both HBO and Showtime television networks at 9:00 p.m. E.T &  6:00 p.m. P.T. The fight is expected to gross up to $400 million when all revenues from endorsements, ticket sales and pay per view purchases have transpired. This combined Showtime and HBO broadcast will be staffed with ringside announcers Roy Jones Jr., Al Berstein and Max Kellerman and more. Additionally, the fight will be  have international broadcasting in the following countries ; Albania, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Cambodia, Chile, China, Turkey, South Africa Denmark,, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand,  and more. This is what the world has been waiting for, a boxing title match to set the record straight once and for all.

Floyd "Money" Mayweather has no trouble stepping in the ring as long as the reservations fall in line with his economic and physical standards. After several disputes, opponent Manny Pacquiao finally agreed to the Olympic-style drug testing in which Mayweather insisted was the the reason they didn't fight sooner. Regardless, Mayweather must be ready for the furious flurry he's destined to receive this weekend. Manny Pacquiao comes into this title fight with a record of 57-5-2, retaining his WBO welterweight title by defeating Chris Algieri by unanimous decision in 2014. Mayweather on the other hand, comes in undefeated with a record of 47-0 defeating Marcos Maidana by unanimous decision last year. Mayweather will be looking to silence the critics who claim that his superfluity arrogance is unwarranted.  Still, Mayweather continues to put the money where his mouth is while he feeds his opponents with the gourmet knuckle sandwich they ordered. One must appreciate the knuckle sandwich taste test Mayweather promotions sponsors every time that he enters the ring. All testers are accommodated with a sizable compensation for there deed. It'll be interesting to see in Pac-man can take his legacy to another level by defeating the best. An honor that would give him full dominion over the knuckle sandwich enterprise with the WBO title.

THE BIRTH LLC supports professional boxing, HBO, Showtime, Mayweather Promotions, and the continuous anticipation revolved around the WBO title fight. Tune in this Saturday at 9:00 p.m. E.T to see who will come out victorious.

WHOLE TEAM SKATING - NHL PLAYOFFS [2015]

The 2015 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs continue tonight with a doubleheader. In the first of the two face-offs, the Tampa Bay Lighting head to Joe Louis Arena to take on the Detroit Red Wings in Game 6 of their first round Eastern Conference series. After that, at 7:30 p.m. E.T the New York Islanders and Washington Capitals will battle it out in Game 7 to see who will advance to the semi finals. These series will conclude the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs as the Rangers, Black hawks, Canadians, Ducks and Calgary wait it out to continue their skate towards the Stanley Cup title. Tune in tonight as these match-ups will be televised on networks CBC, CNBC, NBCSN and more. Be sure to review the Eastern and Western Conference brackets at the official NHL website. Enjoy the games tonight.

Detroit dominated Game 5 with a 4-0 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning. Goalie Petr Mrazek certainly feels redeem after producing an impressive post-season shut-out in which he survived 3 power-play opportunities for his opponent. Though the Lightning were able to out man the Wings 41-23 on face-offs, they were unable to render a single goal on the Ice. The Wings host tonight's Game 6 from the notorious Hockey Town where die hard fans will not be a shortage at the Arena. Unless Tampa Bay can capitalize on the power play chances they get, tonight will likely be the last of their 2015 NHL season. They'll also need to cut down the turnovers against a Detroit defense that ranks 1st in the NHL regarding shots attempted against.

THE BIRTH LLC supports the NHL and will provide continuous updates throughout the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

ARE WE THERE YET? - NBA PLAYOFFS [2015]

Three of the remaining 13 NBA 2015 Playoffs contenders have advance unto the semi finals rounds. As the #2 Cavs, #1 Warriors and # 5 Wizards rest up, five series will play out, hopefully by the end of this week. Anyways, the NBA Playoffs continues tonight courtesy of  NBA TV, Turner Sports Interactive and the good folks over at NBA on TNT. The night will kick off at 7:00 p.m. E.T when the  #1 Atlanta Hawks face the #8 Brooklyn Nets in Game 4 of what looks to be a long series. The Chicago Bulls host the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 5 at 8:00 p.m. E.T. on TNT. Following that, the Memphis Grizzlies will visit the Moda Center yet again for Game 4 against the Portland Trail Blazers. Tonight features two potential close out games to get us moreover determined for the Semi finals round. As the pressure builds look for these match-ups to become a little more intensifying. Tune in to NBA TV and TNT tonight for enjoyable NBA Playoffs basketball.

Brooklyn defended home court well in Saturday's Game 3 contest against the Hawks. Nets head Coach Lionel Hollins has pure confidence that his team can overcome their current deficit and defeat the top seeded Hawks. Needless to say, that type of upset would reshape the match-ups for the next round entirely. I'm sure the Atlanta Hawks are haunted by the possibility of being publicly humiliated, if they are to face defeat against a team that won 22 less games than them in the regular season. Their 83-91 loss in Game 3 was a result of a poor 3pt shooting percentage and the plus 12 free throw advantage their opponent the Brooklyn Nets produced. Tonight they'll need to get more offensive production from the referees and Al Horford who registered just 7 points in Saturday's loss. Atlanta might not want to linger to long within this first round. Their potential opponent, the Washington Wizards closed out their series last night and will have nearly a week to prepare for next round. We'll see if the Atlanta Hawks will show NBA fans and viewers why they won 60 games in the 2014-15 NBA regular season with a convincing victory tonight.

Grizzlies Guard Mike Conley caught an elbow to his face in Game 3 of their series against Portland and will be sidelined for the Game 4 contest. Though Portland forward Nicholas Batum produced 27 points, his team fell short 105-99 in a pivotal Game 3. Marc Gasol led the Grizzlies with 25 points, 7 rebounds and has been a continuous problem for Blazers down low. Tonight the Blazers face first round elimination and need to show forth urgency if they want to remain a potential contender for the 2015 NBA Playoffs. The absence of Wesley Matthews and Aaron Affalo cannot be disregarded when considering Portland's current shortcomings but the time now requires their resilience. Game 4 will be a bawl indeed.

Luke 19 (KJV)

Luke 19 (KJV)

19 And Jesus entered and passed through Jericho.
And, behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus, which was the chief among the publicans, and he was rich.
And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature.
And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way.
And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house.
And he made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully.
And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, That he was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner.
And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord: Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold.
And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham.
10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
11 And as they heard these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately appear.
12 He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return.
13 And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.
14 But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us.
15 And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading.
16 Then came the first, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds.
17 And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities.
18 And the second came, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds.
19 And he said likewise to him, Be thou also over five cities.
20 And another came, saying, Lord, behold, here is thy pound, which I have kept laid up in a napkin:
21 For I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up that thou layedst not down, and reapest that thou didst not sow.
22 And he saith unto him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow:
23 Wherefore then gavest not thou my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have required mine own with usury?
24 And he said unto them that stood by, Take from him the pound, and give it to him that hath ten pounds.
25 (And they said unto him, Lord, he hath ten pounds.)
26 For I say unto you, That unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him.
27 But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.
28 And when he had thus spoken, he went before, ascending up to Jerusalem.
29 And it came to pass, when he was come nigh to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount called the mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples,
30 Saying, Go ye into the village over against you; in the which at your entering ye shall find a colt tied, whereon yet never man sat: loose him, and bring him hither.
31 And if any man ask you, Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say unto him, Because the Lord hath need of him.
32 And they that were sent went their way, and found even as he had said unto them.
33 And as they were loosing the colt, the owners thereof said unto them, Why loose ye the colt?
34 And they said, The Lord hath need of him.
35 And they brought him to Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the colt, and they set Jesus thereon.
36 And as he went, they spread their clothes in the way.
37 And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen;
38 Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.
39 And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples.
40 And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.
41 And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it,
42 Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.
43 For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side,
44 And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.
45 And he went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought;
46 Saying unto them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves.
47 And he taught daily in the temple. But the chief priests and the scribes and the chief of the people sought to destroy him,
48 And could not find what they might do: for all the people were very attentive to hear him.

DISAPPEARING ACTS - NBA PLAYOFFS [2015]

The 2015 NBA Playoffs continue this afternoon with a few thrillers. Live on ABC the #2 Cavaliers are looking to close out the #7 Boston Celtics in Game 4 of their Eastern Conference series. At 3:30 p.m. E.T, the #3 Los Angeles Clippers look to bounce back after their dismal performance Friday night, as they take on the #6 San Antonio Spurs in Game 4. Washington will look to close out the Toronto Raptors in Game 4 at 6:30 p.m. on TNT. Lastly, Sunday night will be capped off with the battle of Texas between the #2 Houston Rockets and #7 Dallas Mavericks at 9:00 p.m. E.T The #1 Golden State Warriors were the first team to advance unto the semifinal round with their 11 point victory over the #8 New Orleans Pelicans last night. This series sweep may not be the only of the 2015 NBA Playoffs as three series currently have the potential to do the same. Stay updated with series schedules for both the NBA Eastern and Western Conferences by accessing this following link. Stay tuned.

The ridicule regarding the Los Angeles Clippers state of mediocrity has definitely manifested itself true in 2015. Their atrocious offensive performance in Game 3 left critics surmising yet another short-lived post-season for Chris Paul and company. Forward Kawhi Leonard led the San Antonio Spurs with 32 points from the field on a night where the Clippers were held to just 11 points in the 3rd Quarter. Surely, with a 2-1 game lead in the series, Spurs head coach Greg Poppivich has ideas on sealing the deal for a San Antonio advancement in the 2015 NBA Playoffs. The defending champs bring their collective into today's match-up with the same mindset as always, teamwork makes the dream work. In Game 3, they registered 25 team assist and concluded with a 27 point victory by a score of 73-100. Power forward Blake Griffin will need to have a better offensive outing if the Clippers are to stand a chance. In Los Angeles’s only victory of the series, guard Chris Paul produced 32 points. Needless to say, the Clippers must find a way to get higher percentage shots if they hope to extend their season past next week.

The #5 Washington Wizards have had their way with the #4 Toronto Raptors. In Game 3 Toronto shot 37-99 from the field. So basically out of a possible 198 points the Raptors were able to get just half of that losing the contest 99-106. Morale, it's the key essential an inexperienced team like the Raptors needs to overcome adversity and get it done. The adversary Wizards have no compassion for their underachieved opponents and have endlessly brought them the truth in Paul Pierce. His 18 point outing in Game 2 was accompanied by PG John Wall's 15 assist and C Marcin Gortat's 24 points. Though scientifically, Raptors are known to have a large appetite, if they are awarded an NBA post-season appearance and get fed four first round losses, they'll certainly be out of commission. Maybe Toronto can turn it around tonight. Their 2015 season relies on it.
