FINAL FOUR ON TBS

Tonight is the night for the Final Four showdown. Live on TBS will be the showcase of two match-ups. At 6:09 p.m. E.T Tom Izzo brings his #7 Michigan State Spartans to the hardwood to take on Kahlil Okafor and the #1 Duke Blue Devils. The Spartans were able to sneak by Louisville last weekend in an overtime nail biter. Michigan State guard Travis Trice gave God the glory after producing 17 points to aid his team to victory. It's quite electrifying how time after time regardless of the odds, Tom Izzo manages to push his underrated Spartans right back to the Final Four. Duke Head coach Mike Krzyzewski is no stranger to the big stage. He's led the Blue Devils to seven national championship games over his tenure as head coach and has plans to make yet another appearance this year. Duke is noted for their superstar talent big man Jahlil Okafor who has averaged 15.5 points per game in the tournament. This game will be a scrappy battle that may need extra periods to finalize. Be looking for Mr. Izzo to scheme Duke's penetration based offense right out of sync. If the Spartans can force a few turnovers they'll likely pull the upset.

The undefeated #1 Kentucky Wildcats faced a scare last weekend against Notre Dame but was able to get a victory in a game that came down to the final play. On the last play of the game, Notre Dame Guard  Jerian Grant chose to attempt the fade way corner three pointer, while he was smothered by three Wildcats and surely now can admit that there's is one game he wishes he had back. Nevertheless, the Wildcats out muscled the Fighting Irish down low in the paint to move on to the Final Four. #1 Kentucky forward Karl Anthony Towns led the team with 25 points. Tonight the Wildcats will take on Big Ten Champions #1 Wisconsin Badgers who put on quite a show against the Arizona Wildcats. Badgers forward's Frank Kaminsky and Sam Decker combined for 54 of the badgers 78 points. They'll face off against the favored Wildcats with a confidence quite sufficient. Wisconsin head coach Bo Ryan was accompanied by Frank Kaminsky in a post-game interview. He lightly conveyed that he had well known the potential of his ball club but humbly expressed that the march to the Final Four was not easy. It'll get a little harder tonight as the match-up with the team projected to win the entire tournament. Review the 2015 NCAA Basketball tournament bracket at this link.
