Miami scorched the Cavaliers in their March 16th meeting at the American Airlines Arena by a score of 92-116. Not only did they dominate Cleveland in their most recent contest, they currently lead the season series 2- 1. Certainly LeBron James finds displeasure in losing to a team he helped evolve the last two seasons. He'll be looking to redeem his team by getting a victory tonight at the Q. This match-up is a 2014 NBA Playoff Eastern Conference first round preview. With The Cavaliers currently sitting at 2nd place and Miami sitting at 7th, undoubtedly these teams understand just how pivotal this game is. Expect this one to get a little chippy. Miami head coach Erik Spoelstra will be looking to pull a notable upset, the Heat success against Cleveland thus far should be highly accredited to his defensive scheming on King James.
Later on tonight, the Phoenix Suns fly south to Oakland, CA to take on the Western Conference juggernaut Golden State Warriors. The Suns pummeled the Warriors on November 9th last year by a score of 95-117. Though not particularly an expected loss, the physical guard play of Phoenix plays a pestering role in keeping the splash brothers in order. Before the trade deadline in February, the Suns acquired lengthy guard Brandon Knight from the Milwaukee Bucks adding a defensive presence in the back court. Stephen Curry will make his appearance tonight after breaking the ankles of Los Angles Clippers guard Chris Paul. The Pandemonium of the highlight has flooded media sources worldwide. It'll be interesting to see if the Suns have the poise to refrain from becoming yet another victim of the Curry crossover. Warriors Head Coach Steve Kerr continues to enjoy the bliss of his superstar point-guard as they look to push their way to the 2011 NBA Finals this June.
