Tonight the NBA on TNT will host its final 2014 NBA regular season game showcase. A double-header will tip off tonight at 8:00 p.m. E.T when John Wall and the Washington Wizards head to Bankers Life Fieldhouse to take on Paul George and the Indiana Pacers. In the second match-up, set to begin at 10:30 p.m. E.T, the Los Angles Clippers will visit Eric Bledsoe and the Phoenix Suns. It's been a long journey, a 82 game season filled with highlight dunks, jaw dropping crossovers, surprising trades and of course grievous injuries. Tomorrow the NBA regular season finale will feature 14 games. Fans can enjoy these games on ESPN and NBA League Pass channels. The 2014-15 NBA Playoffs will began Saturday April 18th, 2015. Fans can assess the current playoff picture at this following link. 40 games in 40 nights, set to take place. In less than 2 months an 2014 NBA Finals champion will be crowned.
The Washington Wizard (46-34) hold down the 5th seed in the Eastern Conference. The Indiana Pacers (37-43) on the other hand sit at 8th place and would like to make a statement tonight by defending home court and their playoff pride. Surely they had been hindered by the absence of superstar shooting guard Paul George who made his return earlier this month. Since his return, George has played limited minutes as he works his way back into the momentum of his 2013 NBA Season where he averaged 21.7 points a game and 6.8 rebounds. This will be only his 5th game this year. With the Brooklyn Nets right on their heels, the Pacers can ill afford to take another loss tonight against the Wizards. Wizards head coach Randy Wittman will likely have his starting five limited as they prepare to host the Toronto Raptors in the first round. The Pacers will have their hands full with the Atlanta Hawks who in last years playoffs (without Al Horford) ran the Pacers into an exhausting seven game series.
The Los Angles Clippers (55-26) must be glad to have Blake Griffin back. Not only do they have the KIA driving slam dunk sensation in but they also have it insured with the state farm specialist Chris Paul. Since Griffin's return the Clippers have climbed from the middle of the pack up to the 3rd seed in the Western Conference a worthy improvement to say the least. They'll likely be resting as they visit the playoff disqualified Suns (39-42) . Phoenix lingered around a playoff potential last month but loss a few too many games in the stingy Western Conference. Their record would qualify them a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference but with that not being the reality, they'll sit this post-season at home on the sofa. Tonight NBA fans will sit on the sofa and enjoy them play their final home game of the NBA season.
