GRADE A CURRY SAUCE

Stephen Curry has had a stellar 2014 NBA season nonetheless.  Alongside Russell Westbrook, LeBron James, and James Harden Curry is a leading candidate for the 2014-15 NBA MVP Award. Not only has Stephen Curry led the Golden State Warriors to a 64-15 season record, on Thursday night against the Portland Trail Blazers Curry set yet another milestone by breaking the single season record for most three pointers made (276 and counting). Curry passed legendary NBA Champion Ray Allen who retired from basketball prior to this season, a honor he'll accept with humility.

Surely it helps that Stephen Curry has splash brother Klay Thompson as a side kick (the man who ran second up to Curry in the three point contest back at All-Star Weekend). This dynamic back court frustrates the defense with savvy ball-handling, precise passing and potent outside shooting. Sir Curry definitely cannot be underplayed for the effectiveness of his shooter stroke. This season he's shot a .442 field goal percentage from three point range averaging a whopping 23.9 points per game. His season high came against the Dallas Mavericks on February 4th where Curry had 51 points. The NBA Western Conference surely obliges Curry's contribution to the Golden State Warriors. NBA analyst must reverence the fact that the Warriors are the fan favorite not just because of Curry's ability to make the highlight real but because a 81 % victory percentage is quite sufficient. Let's not fail to mention how Curry shook the socks of state farm expert Chris Paul last month. The sky is literally the limit for this young man and with all things being equal, Curry deserves that MVP award undoubtedly. Review the NBA standings to project the 2014 Playoffs at this link.
