HEART IN THE PAINT - NBA PLAYOFFS [2015]

Last night the Los Angles Clippers dominated the Houston Rockets on both ends of the floor, winning game 1 by a score of 117-101 to take a 1-0 lead in their western conference semifinals round series. Clippers power forward Blake Griffin produced 26 points 14 rebounds and 13 assist, a well ordained output considering the injury to superstar point guard Chris Paul. Whether Paul will return in Game 2 is highly uncertain but NBA fans are encouraged to stay updated with his status by visting the Clippers official NBA website. The Rockets will need to limit their turnovers if they are to overcome their series deficit and regain even ground with their opponents. Rockets head coach Kevin Mchale simply advised his ball club not to pass the ball to the other team. Houston rendered a total on 23 turnovers last night which is a clear explanation of why they came out on the short end of the stick last night. Game 2 will air at 9:30 p.m. E.T tomorrow night on TNT.  Stay tuned.

With no Love from the Cavalier bench, Cleveland fell to the Chicago Bulls in Game 1 by the score of 99-92. The Bulls shot 55.2%  from the field in last nights contest and haven't completely cooled off from their 50+ point slaughter of the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 5 of their quarterfinals round series. Chicago was led by guard Derek Rose who scored 25 points in last nights contest. cavs guard Kyrie Irving was a per usual effective also on the offensive side of the court. Irving registered 30 points while his colleague LeBron James produced only 15 points for the game. Without power forward Kevin Love, the Cavaliers will have trouble spreading the floor for penetration kick-outs against this stingy Bulls defense. They put shooting guard Mike Miller into the starting lineup in hope that they could make-up for the outside shooting they will be deprived of, but game 1 showed no avail.  Game 2 of the series will be showcased on TNT tomorrow night a 7:00 p.m. E.T. Expect an explosive crowd at the Quicken Loans Arena as the Cavs look to even things up before it gets out of hand.
