I'D LIKE A CUP - NHL EASTERN CONFERENCE FINALS

Today the 2015 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs Eastern Conference Finals began as the Tampa Bay Lightning take on the New York Rangers to see who can win the best of seven and advance to the Stanley Cup Finals. Both teams finished off their semifinals opponents earlier this week and have had three days to rest and prepare for this series. The New York Rangers will host Game 1 at Madison Square Garden, where they have won two consecutive post-season games in overtime. The Rangers overcame a 3-1 series deficit to defeat the Washington Capitals and are fully confident that they can take on the task of limiting an Tampa Bay offensive force that is second to none in the NHL. The Lighting finished off Montreal Canadiens in Game 6  Tuesday night with an impressive 4-1 victory. Throughout the NHL playoffs the Tampa Bay Lightning have led the league in power-play goals for with a total of 9. If the Rangers find themselves in the penalty box within the first and second periods, they might turn these contest into shootouts that don't particular play to their team strengths. The Rangers need to turn the match-up into one of physicality, big hits and low-scoring. Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist will look to stone Tampa Bay Lightning superstar Tyler Johnson in a similar fashion as he'd done Capitals leader Ovechkin in Game 7 earlier this week. NHL fans have waited all year for this and it should be a dandy. Both teams can taste a 2015 Stanley Cup title.
