IT'S A STICK UP - NHL PLAYOFFS [2015]

Last night the Washington Capitals had yet another chance to close out the conference favorite New York Rangers in Game 6 of the series. The Capitals started off with an early deficit, courtesy of two Chris Kreider goals in the first period. The Capitals were able to get back into the game during the last period, where the trailed 4-3 in the final seconds. New York continues to dominate at the beginning of the contest putting constant pressure on the Capitals who are now one loss away from a 2015 Stanley Cup Playoffs debacle. Though Washington registered more shots on goal than the Rangers in Game 6, accuracy is what counts and they are hitting everything but the back of the net. The Capitals must capitalize on power-play chances if they plan on stealing Game 7 on the road. Washington veteran Alexander Ovechkin will need to bring his A game and get a few breakaway goals to reel the Capitals to a victory at Madison Square Garden Wednesday night. We'll see how it all turns out NHL fans must see Game 7 of Washington Capitals vs. New York Rangers Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m. E.T on NBCSN.

Say goodbye to the Calgary Flames who played the final game of their 2015 NHL season last night at the Honda Center Arena and losing by a score of 3-2. Ducks right wing Corey Perry scored the game winning goal in overtime to advance the Anaheim Ducks to the Western Conference finals. The Ducks will face-off against Patrick Kane and the Chicago Black Hawks in the conference finals round. These teams faced last on February 2nd, when the Black hawks defeated Anaheim 2-0. Nevertheless, the regular season match-ups will play no factor in the outcome of the series where both teams will compete to see who can win the best out of 7 and advance to the  2015 NHL Stanley Cup Finals. Scheduling for the Western and Eastern Conference finals can be accessed at the NHL website after the quarterfinals round has ended.
