A 19 point 3rd quarter deficit was not enough to keep the determined Houston Rockets from getting a 119-107 victory in Game 6 last night. The lack of defense there in, played to the disadvantage of the Clippers who've peaked within the series outputting an incredible 128 points in Game 4. Their "I will outscore you" approach failed terribly in Game 6. Los Angeles was destroyed in the 4th quarter and shot a terrible 4-22 from the field within the stretch of a Houston Rocktes 40-15 run. This run included numerous of hail-mary three point field goals, countless second chance opportunities and a dismay of the #3 seeded western conference contending Clippers attempted close-out. The Staples Center sat stunned as they watched what looked two days ago like a championship ready team, relapse into the mediocrity they have been accused of producing the last three years. After leading the series 3-1, the Clippers now are in a series tie with Houston at 3-3 and are forced to play a must win Game 7 at the Toyota Center this Sunday. The NBA has already released a poll allowing NBA fans to make their Game 7 predictions of who will win. As of 10:00 a.m. E.T today, The Houston Rockets lead the poll by a 100% in voting totals. This comeback win spoke values and will likely be the talk of the day in the sports media world. Only one of these teams can advance to the Western Conference finals. Neither of these contenders are looking forward to leting their fans down in Game 7. Stay tuned to see how it all plays out.
