ICED OUT - NHL PLAYOFFS [2015]

Defensemen Ryan McDonagh help save the New York Rangers 2015 NHL season with his game winning overtime goal in Game 4 against the Washington Capitals last night. The New York Rangers still trail the Capitals 3-2 in the series but can definitely grow optimistic about overcoming a two game losing streak and avoiding elimination.  Game 6 of the series will be take place Sunday at 7:00 p.m. E.T on NBCSN. The Calgary Flames on the other hand have put themselves in a tough position by losing Game 4 at home last night to the Anaheim Ducks 4-2. Sunday they'll have to avoid elimination by defeating the Anaheim Ducks at the Honda Center in Game 5 where they have not had much success. Coverage of this game will also take place Sunday night at 10:00 p.m. E.T on NBCSN. It's win or go home from here on out in the 2015 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Montreal outscored the Tampa Bay Lightning -6-2 in Game 4 to avoid exiting the 2015 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Tonight the Canadiens will host Game 5 against Tampa bay where they'll need to have the same offensive output if they are to remain a 2015 Stanley Cup Playoff contender. Tampa Bay's NHL best offensive manpower, will likely come out tonight shooting to kill. Center Tyler Johnson slashes at the puck with his million dollar smile and has objectives that don't include prolonging a series with the Canadiens. Johnson has scored a league best 8 goals this post-season and will likely be key in advancing the Lighting into the Eastern Conference finals after tonight. Let's be sure not to speak to soon because Game 5 of the Tampa Bay Lighting vs. Montreal Canadiens will air tonight at 7:00 p.m. E.T on NBCSN. We'll see if the Canadiens can stay alive in what has been an outstanding 2015 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs.
