THE LEASE IS UP - CLIPPERS VS. ROCKETS GAME 7

Both the Los Angeles Clippers and Houston Rockets have a chance to advance to the NBA Western Conference Finals and face the Golden State Warriors if they are to get it done in Game 7 today. At the end of this day one of these unseemly Western Conference contenders will close out the NBA Semifinals round with a Game 7 victory. The term unseemly can describe the performance of the Houston Rockets in games 3 & 4 where they were outscored 194 - 252. The term unseemly is also used here to describe how the Los Angeles Clippers surrendered a 19 point 4th quarter lead in Game 6 and allowed the Rockets to tie things up at 3-3 and force a Game 7. The Lease is up for one of these teams. The real owner must make his claim this afternoon at the Toyota Center while the lessee is required to retire their pretentious splendor. Will Clippers Guard Chris Paul make yet another second round NBA Playoffs exit without a commendable achievement? Is this Clippers team built to win or are they forever the mediocrity of the Western Conference? Will head coach Doc Rivers be terminated if the lose? The Rockets surely come into Game 7 fully convinced that they can and will prevail. The Clippers on the other hand, can feel the debt of their wavering Playoffs performance beginning to diminish their confidence. These western conference opponents will have one last chance to convince NBA fans that a championship is what they deserve because the repo man is on his way and only one team will advance.
