LIKE WE SHOULD : HAWKS TAKE 3-2 SERIES LEAD
Last night, Washington point-guard John Wall made his return to the Wizards lineup in Game 5 of their series versus the Atlanta Hawks. Despite his battered left-hand, Wall produced 15 points on 7-16 shooting and 7 assist in 37 minutes played. What the Wizards did not produce although was a win and Hawks center Al Horford made sure they didn't. The Hawks center crashed the offensive glass for a game winning layup to give Atlanta a one point lead with under 3 seconds to go in regulation. Hortford's 23 (most of which came in the fourth quarter) point output was the determining factor in the victory for the Hawks one point prevail. Though it wasn't pretty, Atlanta will gladly take the win with grace as they look forward to closing things out and advancing to the Eastern Conference finals where they will face either the Chicago Bulls or Cleveland Cavaliers. The Hawks now have a 3-2 series lead on the Wizards who will host a must win Game 6 tomorrow night at the Verizon Center. Expect yet another dramatic finish and visit the NBA site for more news regarding this miraculous victory.
