SELECTED THEN SIDELINED

Dante Fowler Jr.was selected third overall in the 2015 NFL Draft by Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jacksonville Jags registered a horrendous 13-3 regular season record in 2015 and sought to grab Fowler Jr. out of the draft pool in the 2015 NFL draft to improve their pass rush that ranked 6th in the league last season. Last week, the Jaguars, like many other NFL teams, entered mini-camp to run drills and get players and personnel prepared for the strenuous upcoming season. Dante Fowler Jr. participated in the mini camp, but not for long. Reportedly, on the very first play of camp, Fowler Jr. took an awkward step at the line of scrimmage and tore his ACL. He was carried off the field moments later by Jaguars training staff. The injury is quite severe, and will cause him to miss the entire 2015 NFL season. Dante is optimistic about his tribulation, and  has since the incident spurted positive tweets on his a twitter account. "Hey everybody I'll be fine thank you for your prayers and encouragement, I really appreciate that!"- (Dante Fowler Jr. 7:36 PM - 8 May 2015). We'll be looking forward to Dante Fowler Jr to have a speedy recovery and began a promising NFL career. With proper treatment, there is a strong possibility that Fowler Jr. could return to the field by December. Jaguars fans certainly hope his recovery is a expedited.
